This sophisticated system encompasses a range of essential components, including a robust compressor body, a precision-engineered coupling, a reliable gearbox, an advanced lubrication system, a powerful motor, and an intuitive electric instrument. Additionally, it features an innovative anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base, which is a single unit, onto the designated foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims underneath to precisely adjust the unit's level.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons to achieve optimal leveling of the unit. Once the unit is aligned, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points.
The wedges must be crafted and installed by the user tailored to specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is finished to ensure seamless contact of the inclined planes.
The wedge iron must not exceed a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to confirm alignment. The acceptable leveling parameters are: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
These precise measurements guarantee the optimal performance of the unit.
3.3.3 Properly center the coupling. Before initiating alignment, ensure the following preliminary steps are completed:
1) Completely switch off the primary power source;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness is impeccable, and free from debris, dirt, or attachments.
5) Confirm the motor's bolt holes exceed the bolt size for easy loosening and subsequent motor adjustments.
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fit under the motor's feet. Ensure they are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, ensuring it's prepared by the customer.
8) Have ready a suitable bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as depicted in the reference figure.
9) Equip the motor wheel hub with a mounting bracket to set a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines with minimal deviation. Target a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, while ensuring the motor shaft center is above the compressor's low-speed shaft center. Coupling end face deviation should range between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess both outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.;
12) Complete by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idle test.
3.3.4 Post 'levelness' and alignment adjustments of the casing, anchor bolts should be firmly tightened. After mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten the bolts anew.
3.3.5 Recognize the impeller as a high-speed component, vulnerable to damage from any solids or liquids. It is imperative that both inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor remain pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification.Incorporating solid-liquid separation devices, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to equip import and export pipelines with necessary accessories. Utilize separate brackets for pipeline support, ensuring the compressor body bears no weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its accompanying equipment is successfully completed and the concrete foundation has fully hardened, you are ready to embark on the thrilling compressor operation test. This pivotal stage ensures that everything functions seamlessly, providing the reliability and performance you expect.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality and ease of access, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically situated within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To maintain a tidy and efficient setup, utilize a threading pipe for the wiring that connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet, ensuring it is securely routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is properly positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, paving the way for a streamlined and effective control system.
