This transformative process converts electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature propels the secondary steam back to the evaporator, where it effectively heats materials and induces evaporation. Through this sophisticated cycle, the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam is ingeniously recycled, epitomizing energy conservation and sustainability.
The DML series, renowned for its low temperature rise steam compressor, is a marvel of engineering craftsmanship. It comprises several critical components, including a robust compressor body—featuring a volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it is meticulously equipped with a coupling, motor, and electric instruments, all harmoniously integrated to deliver unmatched performance and reliability.
3.3.1 The compressor base is meticulously placed on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims under the base, which are essential for achieving the perfect unit level. These shims serve as the foundation of your compressor's stability.
Place the wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons through spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points. This ensures the integrity and durability of your installation.
The user is responsible for the custom manufacturing and installation of the wedges, tailored to the specific circumstances. It is crucial that the contact surface is finely finished for uniform contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm, ensuring a robust and reliable foundation.2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the unit's precision. The leveling requirements are stringent: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm are imperative for optimal performance.
Leveling the unit to these precise standards guarantees unparalleled stability and operational efficiency.
3.3.3 For coupling alignment, precision is key. Prior to aligning, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Power down the main supply to ensure safety and prevent any accidental operation.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield, granting access for alignment tasks.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to prepare for precise coupling alignment.
4) Thoroughly verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from any foreign matter, dirt, or attachments, which could hinder alignment.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing the bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments.
6) Amass a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot. These gaskets must be clean, flat, and void of any attachments to ensure proper fitment without using long, thin gaskets between the motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which the customer should prepare, to achieve impeccable alignment.
8) Prepare the supporting bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying figure, ensuring robust support for accurate readings.
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is to be used for affixing a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for unrivaled precision.
10) Adjust the motor's feet bolts methodically so that the compressor and motor centers align seamlessly. The optimal deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face should measure between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Once the alignment is perfect, fasten the motor foot bolts securely. Subsequently, reassess the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to confirm flawless alignment.;
12) After conducting an idling test of the motor, reinstall the coupling intermediate section to complete the alignment process.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts to secure the assembly. Post mechanical operation or trial operation, it is crucial to loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure sustained precision and stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating component, and any solid or liquid infiltrating it can cause irreparable damage. Thus, it is paramount to maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that comply with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified immediately. Incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all relevant pipeline accessories are installed according to the PI diagram. The pipeline must be independently supported by a separate bracket, preventing any undue weight from resting on the compressor body, thereby ensuring its longevity and operational integrity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has reached its full strength and solidity, it's time to embark on a performance journey with the compressor operation test. This marks an essential step in ensuring the seamless functionality and robust performance of your setup.
3.3.8 For optimal operation and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring journey from the compressor to the control cabinet should be carefully executed using threading pipes, which must discreetly run underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely stationed, ensure a seamless connection of all wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a flawless communication relay.
