MVR, an acronym for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents a groundbreaking energy-conserving technology. By ingeniously capitalizing on the reutilization of secondary steam energy, it significantly diminishes the need for external energy sources. The core principle involves compressing secondary steam, which is generated by the evaporator, using a steam compressor that boasts exceptional energy efficiency. This process masterfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As a result, the heated and pressurized secondary steam is channeled back to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials, instigating evaporation, and thereby achieving an impressive recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in secondary steam.
The DML series of low temperature rise steam compressors is meticulously engineered, featuring a sophisticated assembly of components. At its heart lies the compressor body, which includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, seal, and more. This robust unit is seamlessly integrated with a coupling, motor, and cutting-edge electric instruments, forming an outstanding ensemble designed for optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally positioned on the foundation with precision, situated atop wedge-shaped shims to achieve perfect leveling. Carefully place these shims in an alternating manner.
After leveling the unit, skillfully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 key points. It's important that these wedges,
crafted and installed by the user based on specific circumstances, feature a finished contact surface for a seamless fit,
ensuring the wedge's bearing capacity does not exceed 40 Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level to attain the ideal alignment. The exacting leveling guidelines for the unit are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm,
and a horizontal level accuracy of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring impeccable balance and stability.
3.3.3 Coupling alignment is crucial. Before beginning, ensure the following safety and preparation steps are completed:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Dismantle the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring it's devoid of debris or foreign substances;
5) Confirm the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, permitting necessary adjustments by loosening;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel shims to fully support the motor feet, ensuring no debris and maintaining flatness. Avoid using long, thin shims for adjustments;
7) Employ a precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, provided by the customer;
8) Ready the support bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the hub's edge and position its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Finely adjust the motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately, keeping the maximum outer circle deviation at 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than that of the compressor's low-speed shaft, with coupling end face runout between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is achieved, securely tighten the motor foot bolts and re-check the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision;;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 With the casing's levelness and alignment meticulously adjusted, proceed to securely tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operations or trial runs, it's advisable to loosen and re-tighten these bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotation marvel, must remain devoid of any solid or liquid intrusion to prevent catastrophic damage. Therefore, guarantee that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Should any pipeline fall short, immediate rectification is required. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for optimal protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. Additionally, the pipeline attached to the compressor must have independent support, ensuring its weight is not burdened on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you can proceed to conduct the compressor operation test. This stage is crucial to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
3.3.8 It is recommended that the electric control cabinet for the compressor be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius from the compressor itself. The connections between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be securely established using threading pipes that are laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is properly installed, ensure to connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet meticulously to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless operation and integration.
