MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents an avant-garde energy-saving technology designed to significantly minimize external energy consumption by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle of MVR is a masterstroke of innovation: secondary steam produced by the evaporator undergoes a sophisticated compression process using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, causing an elevation in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The resultant temperature rise propels the secondary steam back to the evaporator, where it performs the dual role of heating the materials and triggering further evaporation. This ingenious cycle ensures the prolific recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam, dramatically enhancing energy efficiency.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, meticulously crafted to include the compressor body, comprised of essential components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it is equipped with a coupling, motor, and state-of-the-art electric instruments, all working in harmony to deliver unparalleled performance and reliability.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precision leveling of the unit. These shims are essential for adjusting the unit's level.
Proceed to alternate two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is leveled, secure these irons by spot welding at 4 to 5 points. The user must custom-make and install these wedges, ensuring they fit the specific situation.
The contact surface should be finely finished to guarantee even contact of the inclined plane. Ensure the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm.

3.3.2 Carefully use a level to achieve the desired alignment. The unit's leveling prerequisites are: axial level precision at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling. Before engaging in alignment, ensure the following steps are methodically executed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section carefully;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane flatness and clear it of any foreign objects, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is slightly larger than the bolt to facilitate easy adjustments by loosening;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets that are flawless and sufficiently flat to underpin the motor, avoiding slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Use a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter, with an accuracy of 0.01mm, provided by the customer;
8) Get the required bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the figure below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket facilitates the attachment of a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, with the probe placed on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line closely (or follow specific instructions). Ensure the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and the coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts. Re-evaluate the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for accuracy.
12) Post the motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's "levelness" and alignment are adjusted, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical or trial operation, release and retighten the bolts for enhanced security.
3.3.5 The impeller rotates at high speed, ensuring the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade is crucial. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified, and it's recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the installation of import and export pipelines follows the PI diagram, with relevant accessories. The compressor body should not bear the pipeline's weight, which should instead be supported by an independent bracket.
3.3.7 Once the main fan alongside its ancillary apparatus has been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidity, an operational test of the compressor can be seamlessly initiated. This vital step ensures that every component is functioning in perfect harmony, ready to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and streamlined operations, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The electrical wiring, elegantly routed through an underground threading pipe, ensures safety and organization. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, the wiring terminals within must be flawlessly connected to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a robust and reliable communication channel.
