The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, encompassing a comprehensive array of components, including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is marked by a compact structure, which not only optimizes space but also ensures ease of maintenance, making it a highly convenient and reliable choice for various industrial applications.
3.3.1 Secure the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect level adjustment of the unit.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons until the desired level is achieved, then apply spot welds at 4 to 5 points for stability.
Customize the wedge according to specific requirements, ensuring precise contact surfaces for optimal performance.
The even contact on inclined planes is critical, and the wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Utilize a level to verify accuracy. The unit's axial precision should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level tolerance is 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve precise coupling alignment by adhering to these prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Disengage the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Carefully assess the motor installation plane for flatness and remove any debris or attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole should accommodate bolts easily, enabling smooth adjustments;
6) Stock sufficient flat stainless steel gaskets to level the motor foot accurately. Avoid using elongated gaskets for this purpose.
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision (customer provided);
8) Have the necessary bracket ready for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement, ensuring accurate alignment with the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines closely, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm (Motor should sit slightly higher than compressor's low-speed shaft). Coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout for precision;;
12) Reassemble the coupling intermediate section post motor idling evaluation.
3.3.4 Upon achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post initial operation or trial run, retighten them for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation necessitates a pristine environment. Any foreign solid or liquid can cause irreparable damage, so ensure all compressor-connected pipelines are clean and meet system-specific steam corrosion standards.Consider installing solid-liquid separation units like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees at the compressor inlet to safeguard against impurities.
3.3.6 Integrate the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes in line with the PI diagram specifications. Support these pipelines independently to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the completion of the main fan installation and its associated equipment, and after ensuring the concrete has fully cured and solidified, you can proceed to conduct the operational test of our state-of-the-art compressor. This critical phase is where advanced engineering meets reliability.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be meticulously handled using threading pipe, which must be routed underground to ensure safety and durability. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, it is essential to connect the wiring terminals within to the lines at the remote DCS, enabling seamless and efficient communication and control.
