The fundamental principle behind this cutting-edge technology involves compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator with a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process brilliantly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, subsequently elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As a result, this enhanced steam returns to the evaporator, efficiently heating the materials and instigating further evaporation. This ingenious method allows for the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, making it an integral component in sustainable energy solutions.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is meticulously engineered to include key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin installation by placing the compressor base securely onto the foundation. Enhance stability by positioning wedge-shaped shims under the base to ensure a perfectly level surface.
Carefully alternate two wedge-shaped irons to establish and maintain even leveling. Once level, secure the wedges by spot welding at 4 to 5 distinct points.
Users are responsible for manufacturing and installing the wedge according to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for a smooth and even contact of the inclined plane.
Note: The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Obtain accurate leveling using a precision level. The unit's leveling specifications are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve precise alignment by centering the coupling. Adhere to the following prerequisites before proceeding:
1) Ensure the main power supply is switched off for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor installation surface is impeccably flat and free from foreign items, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Have ample flat stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor feet. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Use a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision, provided by the customer;
8) Equip with a bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the motor and compressor centerlines. Ensure maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft centerline higher than the compressor low-speed shaft centerline, and coupling end face deviation at 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Finally, tighten the motor foot bolts and review the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to ensure precision alignment.
12) Complete installation by fitting the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and re-tighten these bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating component vulnerable to damage from any solid or liquid intrusion. It is imperative to verify that the inlet and outlet pipelines adhere to steam corrosion standards. Rectify any pipelines failing to meet these specifications.
Incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to safeguard the system.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all import and export pipelines are equipped with necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. Use an independent bracket to support connected pipelines, avoiding any load on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has reached complete solidification, it is time to initiate the operation test for the compressor. This crucial phase ensures that all components are operating harmoniously, setting the stage for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to this cabinet must be expertly managed through piping, designed to run underground for maximum safety and efficiency. Once the cabinet is securely positioned, it’s essential to connect the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless integration and communication.
