At the heart of this cutting-edge technology is a fundamental principle: the secondary steam generated by the evaporator is expertly compressed using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process skillfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated secondary steam is then fed back to the evaporator, efficiently heating the materials and inducing evaporation, thereby achieving an impressive recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is an exemplary engineering marvel, comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Characterized by its compact and efficient design, this compressor is engineered for ease of maintenance, making it an indispensable asset in modern industrial applications.
3.3.1 To lay the foundation for the High-Efficiency Steam Compressor with Speed Regulation for Vanadium Extraction, place the compressor base integrally on its foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims under the base to ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons to achieve precise leveling. Once leveled, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points to hold them securely in place.
These wedges must be tailored and installed by the user, based on specific requirements. Ensure the contact surface is smooth and even for optimal support.
Note that the wedge iron must not exceed a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Use a precision level to find the unit's perfect equilibrium. The axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level should align at 0.10/1000mm for flawless operation.
Ensure these precise leveling standards are met for seamless performance.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous care. Prior to alignment, ensure the following are in place:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to guarantee safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield for unobstructed access.
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to expose alignment points.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness is immaculate, free from debris or foreign materials.
5) Confirm the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts, allowing for adjustments as needed.
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets on hand to stabilize the motor's foot; ensure they are clean and perfectly flat, avoiding any long or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm to ensure exact alignments; this tool should be customer-provided.
8) Prepare the designated bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Fit the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to hold the dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor's wheel hub perimeter.
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum deviation for the outer circle should be 0.05mm, while the motor shaft center line should be marginally higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Ensure the coupling end face is between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Review both outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for precision..
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a satisfactory motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are perfect, tighten the anchor bolts thoroughly. After a complete mechanical run or trial, re-loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, demands pristine conditions. Any solid or liquid contaminants can cause irreversible harm. Thus, connected pipelines must be impeccably clean, adhering to steam corrosion grades. Non-compliant pipelines necessitate rectification, ensuring safety and performance.It is advised to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe leading to the compressor inlet, securing the integrity of the system.
3.3.6 Carefully install both inlet and outlet pipes. The connected pipelines must have the designated pipeline accessories, as outlined in the PI diagram. Ensure that the weight of these pipes is supported by a separate bracket, never by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, it's time to embark on the exciting compressor operation test.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, integral to the compressor's operation, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensuring seamless connectivity, the wiring from the compressor to the control hub should be efficiently managed via underground threading pipes. Once the control cabinet is expertly positioned, connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a smooth and reliable communication pathway.
