Product Description

MVR, which stands for mechanical vapor recompression, is an advanced energy-saving technology designed to significantly reduce reliance on external energy sources. This is achieved through the innovative reutilization of secondary steam energy that the system itself generates. The core principle involves the secondary steam produced by the evaporator being efficiently compressed using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and initiates further evaporation, thus ensuring the continuous recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is a sophisticated piece of equipment featuring a comprehensive array of components. These include the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and a state-of-the-art anti-surge control system. The design is remarkably compact, offering ease of maintenance while ensuring optimal performance.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base is seamlessly integrated on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims strategically placed beneath the base to achieve optimal leveling of the unit.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once leveled, spot weld these irons securely at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedges should be
custom-fabricated and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions, with a focus on ensuring that the contact surfaces are finely finished for even engagement.
It's important that the inclined plane is in perfect contact, and the wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed the threshold of 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to ascertain the exact leveling. The unit must meet stringent leveling criteria: an axial precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal accuracy of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous precision. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Disconnect the main power supply completely;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Dismantle the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation surface to ensure it is free from foreign objects, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size to allow for adjustments by loosening the bolt;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to cover the motor foot. These gaskets must be spotlessly clean and flat, avoiding long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting an impressive accuracy of 0.01mm (to be supplied by the customer);
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the figure below;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator at the edge of the wheel hub, ensuring the probe of the dial indicator rests on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By finely adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line with precision (or per specific instructions), ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle does not exceed 0.05mm. Additionally, maintain the motor shaft's center line slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm.

11) After achieving alignment, tighten the motor foot bolts and double-check the outer circle runout and coupling's end face runout.
12) Following a successful motor idling test, proceed to re-install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are verified, secure the anchor bolts. After performing a mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating marvel, and any foreign solid or liquid intrusion could incur irreversible damage to the compressor. Hence, it is crucial that the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are impeccably clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Any non-compliant pipelines must be rectified.
It is strongly recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation devices (like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) prior to the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that the import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary pipeline accessories in alignment with the PI diagram. The pipelines attached to the compressor must be independently supported by a separate bracket, ensuring that their weight is not borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its ancillary equipment is securely installed and the concrete base has fully solidified, you can proceed with the compressor operation test. This marks a pivotal step in ensuring the seamless functionality of your system.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is meticulously connected using threading pipes routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is positioned, proceed to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, thus completing the circuit for a reliable and efficient operation.
