MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a pioneering and energy-efficient technology designed to significantly cut down the necessity for external power by ingeniously repurposing the secondary steam energy it produces. The fundamental principle hinges on the fact that the secondary steam generated by the evaporator is adeptly compressed using our High-Efficiency Steam Compressor. This innovative process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy with superior efficiency, effectively increasing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This enhanced steam then flows back to the evaporator, where it heats the materials, inducing evaporation, and thereby achieves a remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel encompassing the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and a robust anti-surge control system. Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally upon the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims under the base to fine-tune the unit to achieve perfect levelness.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is precisely leveled, secure the wedges with spot welds at approximately 4 to 5 points. These wedges should be
custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the unique conditions encountered. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for seamless
contact along the inclined plane. Remember, each wedge iron should not bear more than 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to meticulously establish the unit's level. The stringent leveling criteria are as follows: an axial level accuracy of 0.05/1000mm, alongside a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with care. Before initiating alignment, confirm these critical prerequisites:
1) Disconnect the main power supply for safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling conscientiously;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any adherent substances;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing bolts to be relaxed for motor adjustments;
6) Stock ample stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are clean, flat, and free from attachments. Avoid using elongated and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and its base;
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (accuracy up to 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the diagram below;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to install a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By meticulously adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor's center lines precisely. The maximum allowed deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center slightly elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft. Coupling face deviation should be within 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts while re-checking the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section with care.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or trial operation, release and retighten the bolts.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed component where the ingress of any solid or liquid can cause severe damage. It's imperative that all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion specifications. Any pipelines falling short of these standards must be immediately rectified. It is highly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, right before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all pipes feature the requisite accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported independently by another bracket, as its weight should not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment are meticulously installed, and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, you are ready to embark on the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that everything is perfectly aligned for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be expertly managed by threading the wiring through an underground conduit. After placing the electric control cabinet, carefully connect the wiring terminals to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
