3.3.1 To ensure a seamless installation, gracefully place the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Delicately position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely tune the unit's level.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit reaches perfect equilibrium, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is smooth and even, with the inclined plane fitting impeccably.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve optimal balance. The unit's leveling requirements are meticulous: the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level must be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure coupling is perfectly centered. Prior to initiating alignment, verify the following prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Gently take out the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness to ensure it is devoid of debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole surpasses the bolt size, allowing easy loosening to adjust the motor;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's foot. These gaskets should be pristine, flat, and unfettered by attachments. Refrain from using elongated and thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which the customer should provide;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the figure below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to precisely mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By adeptly adjusting the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain a coupling end face tolerance of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout.;
12) Once the motor idling test is complete, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section seamlessly.
3.3.4 After finely adjusting the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, ensure to loosen and then retighten these bolts for perfect security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, demands utmost care. Any solid or liquid intrusion could cause irreversible harm to the compressor. Therefore, it is imperative to guarantee that the inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Rectification is mandatory for pipelines that fall short of these specifications.To enhance protection, consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with utmost precision. Import and export pipelines should include relevant accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. Ensure that another bracket supports the pipeline connected to the compressor, preventing any undue weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan alongside its essential ancillary equipment has been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you can seamlessly proceed with the compressor's operation test. 3.3.8 For an efficient setup, position the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. Securely connect the compressor to the control cabinet using threading pipes, which should be routed underground for safety and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly situated, proceed to connect its wiring terminals with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless integration and operation.
