3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base on its foundation. Utilize a wedge-shaped shim beneath the base to ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is impeccably leveled, proceed to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at four to five points. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by you, the user, tailored to the specific requirements of your situation. Ensure the contact surface is precision-finished to deliver an even contact on the inclined
plane, and note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to meticulously establish the unit's levelness. The exacting leveling standards specify an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensuring precision, proceed to center the coupling. Prior to initiating alignment, verify these important prerequisites:
1) The primary power source must be switched off;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Confirm the motor installation surface is perfectly flat, devoid of any foreign matter, dirt, or residues;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt, allowing for bolt loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Stock up on an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor foot. These gaskets must be free from contaminants and adequately flat. Avoid using elongated and slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) A dial indicator or laser alignment meter with precision of 0.01mm is essential (to be procured by the customer);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket for securing the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is crucial for attaching a dial indicator to the wheel hub's edge, positioning the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer perimeter;
10) Manipulate the adjustment bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line with precision (or as per specific instructions). Ensure the maximum allowable deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should be maintained at 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts tightly, and re-evaluate both the outer circle runout and the face runout of the coupling;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, anchor bolts must be securely tightened. After any mechanical operation or trial run, it is advisable to loosen the bolts and re-tighten them.
3.3.5 Given that the impeller operates at high speeds, it is crucial to prevent any solid or liquid from entering it, as this could inflict irreversible damage on the compressor. Therefore, ensure the cleanliness and compliance of inlet and outlet pipelines with the steam corrosion standards of the system. Pipelines failing to meet these standards require rectification. It is highlyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. All import and export pipelines should be equipped with relevant accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. It is imperative that the pipeline connected to the compressor be supported by a separate bracket, ensuring its weight is not borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its auxiliary equipment, is carefully installed and the concrete has reached full solidification, it's time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This marks a significant step toward ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring, essential for connectivity, should be meticulously threaded through an underground pipe. Once the electric control cabinet is correctly positioned, ensure you connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating a robust communication network.
