3.3.1 The compressor base is elegantly and integrally placed upon the foundation, ensuring stability and precision. Place wedge-shaped shims under the base, meticulously used to fine-tune the unit's level.
Carefully position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, perform spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at 4~5 points, ensuring a secure and stable setup.
These wedges must be custom manufactured and installed by the user, crafted according to specific situational demands. The contact surface must be flawless, ensuring seamless contact on inclined planes.
Importantly, the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should adhere to a maximum of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve impeccable precision by employing a level to ascertain the horizontal and axial accuracy of the unit. Target an exceptional axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These standards ensure superior performance and operational efficiency.
3.3.3 The coupling must be meticulously centered. Prior to initiating alignment, confirm the following essential prerequisites:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, guaranteeing it is free from any foreign materials, dirt, and residues;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size, facilitating easy adjustment by loosening the bolt;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot, ensuring they are spotless and impeccably flat. Avoid using long and slender gaskets for adjustment between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, boasting a remarkable accuracy of 0.01mm (provided by the customer);
8) Prepare the designated bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is adeptly utilized to mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe gracefully on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By tactically adjusting the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines with finesse, aiming for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line with coupling end face deviations of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts after alignment, and meticulously review the runouts of both the outer circle and the coupling's end face;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, it is imperative to firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical operation (or trial operation), systematically loosen and retighten them for maximum security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-velocity rotation marvel, vulnerable to irreversible damage from any solids or liquids. Thus, scrupulous care must be taken to ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and meet stringent steam corrosion grade standards. Pipelines not conforming to these standards must be promptly rectified. We recommend integrating solid-liquid separation equipment such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that the import and export pipelines are fitted with relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported independently by another bracket, ensuring that its weight is never borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan along with its auxiliary apparatus and once the concrete foundation has fully set, you can initiate the operational testing of the compressor. 3.3.8 For optimal performance, the compressor's electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius from the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is facilitated through a threading pipe that is securely embedded underground. Once the electric control cabinet is installed, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS.
