MVR, an acronym for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents a cutting-edge energy-efficient technology crafted to drastically minimize external energy requirements by ingeniously reusing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle revolves around compressing this secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, the secondary steam experiences a rise in both pressure and temperature. This warmed secondary steam is then channeled back to the evaporator, effectively heating materials and inducing further evaporation. Thus, the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam is meticulously recycled, epitomizing energy conservation and efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is composed of several integral components: the robust compressor body, a reliable coupling, a high-performance gearbox, a sophisticated lubrication system, a powerful motor, advanced electric instrumentation, and a state-of-the-art anti-surge control system. Designed with a compact structure, this series offers unparalleled convenience in maintenance, making it an ideal solution for various industrial applications.
3.3.1 Begin by strategically positioning the compressor base onto the foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which serve the crucial role of adjusting the unit's level.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, proceed with spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring robustness.
The wedge assembly is to be crafted and installed by the user, finely tailored to the specific circumstances. Every contact surface should be meticulously finished, ensuring even contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed an impressive 40 Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a level for precision levelling. Adhere strictly to the unit's levelling parameters: axial precision at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal precision at 0.10/1000mm.
The meticulous attention to leveling ensures optimum performance and stability.
3.3.3 The coupling process must be perfectly centered. Prior to initiating the alignment, ensure the following critical steps are completed:
1) Disengage the main power supply entirely.
2) Detach the protective coupling shield carefully.
3) Remove the intermediary segment of the diaphragm coupling.
4) Assess the motor installation plane's flatness to assure an immaculate surface, devoid of any debris or contaminants.
5) Motor bolt holes must surpass the bolt size, enabling easy loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Be equipped with ample stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are pristine and completely flat. Avoid using long, slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm), which the customer should personally provide.
8) Prepare the necessary bracket for stabilizing the dial indicator, as depicted in the schematic below.
9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket, crafted for positioning a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, while placing the probe on the compressor's wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor so that their center lines are harmoniously aligned. Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle is a mere 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain the coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts and diligently review both the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling.Finalize the adjustments with precision.
12) After a successful motor idling test, install the coupling's intermediary section.
3.3.4 Once the alignment and leveling of the casing are perfected, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, these bolts should be loosened and retightened to ensure unwavering stability.
3.3.5 The compressor's impeller is a high-velocity marvel, thus the ingress of any solid or liquid is perilous and can inflict irreversible damage. It is imperative to ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines interfaced with the compressor are pristine and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-compliant pipelines must undergo immediate rectification. It is highlyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, strategically before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. These pipelines must be equipped with the appropriate accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. The pipelines must be steadfastly supported by an independent bracket, ensuring that their weight is never a burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved full solidity, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures everything is functioning at its optimal level for superior performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a close 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure seamless connectivity, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be skillfully threaded through underground pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, carefully connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, setting the stage for efficient communication and control.
