3.3.1 Begin the installation by positioning the compressor base securely on its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure impeccable unit leveling.
Carefully alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the irons at 4–5 strategic points for maximum stability.
The user should fabricate and install the wedge as per the actual conditions, ensuring the contact surface is exquisitely finished for even engagement of inclined planes.
The wedge iron must not surpass a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve flawless alignment. The unit's axial level must reach 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should attain 0.10/1000mm.
These precise measurements ensure optimal operational efficiency.
3.3.3 Prior to initiating coupling alignment, confirm the following pivotal prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate accurate adjustments;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's pristine flatness, free from any debris or obstructions;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size for effortless loosening and adjustment;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to stabilize the motor feet, ensuring they are flawless and smooth. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment tool with 0.01mm accuracy—responsibility of the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket facilitates the dial indicator setup, attaching it securely to the wheel hub edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts meticulously so the compressor and motor center align perfectly, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle (motor shaft center line must be slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft) and coupling end face misalignment within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finalize the process by tightening the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to ensure precision stability.;
12) Post motor idling test, proceed with the precise installation of the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment perfection is achieved, anchor bolts must be tightened. Post mechanical operation or trial, these bolts should be re-tightened for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands pristine conditions—any solid or liquid intrusion can irreparably damage the compressor. Hence, ensure that inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate, meeting the required steam corrosion grade.Should any pipelines fall short of these standards, immediate rectification is imperative. Implement solid-liquid separation equipment (like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for appropriate pipeline accessories installation. Ensure the pipelines linked to the compressor are independently supported, not by the compressor's own structure.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan along with its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has achieved complete solidification, you are poised to initiate the compressor operation test. This step is crucial in ensuring the functionality and performance of the Adjustable Fan Watervapour Compressor with Power Frequency Motor Options.
3.3.8 For optimal installation of the electric control cabinet, it should be positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be meticulously connected using a threading pipe, ensuring it is routed underground for safety and aesthetic purposes. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, make sure to connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet seamlessly with the lines at the remote DCS. This connectivity establishes an efficient communication channel between the components.
