With this sophisticated setup, the need for a speed-increasing box and coupling is entirely eliminated, offering a more efficient, compact, and reliable solution for industrial applications.
3.3.1 Begin by integrally placing the compressor base securely on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to facilitate precise leveling of the unit.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately, and once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedges with spot welds at 4~5 points. Ensure that
the wedges are custom-made and installed by users based on actual conditions, and that the contact surfaces are impeccably finished to guarantee a uniform connection between the inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ensure meticulous leveling. The unit's leveling benchmarks: maintain an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by confirming these essential requirements before starting:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section skillfully;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size to allow bolt loosening for effortless motor adjustment;
6) Prepare a sufficient number of flat, stainless steel gaskets for the motor's foot, avoiding long and thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustment;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with precision of 0.01mm, which customers should provide;
8) Ready a robust bracket as illustrated below for supporting the dial indicator;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, ensure the compressor and motor center lines align, with a maximum deviation of 0.05mm from the outer circle (motor shaft center line should be higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line) and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Tighten the motor foot bolts securely, double-checking the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 After ensuring the impeccable 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and re-tighten the bolts for safety.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must remain free from any solid or liquid intrusion as this can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Meticulously ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion grade. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines promptly. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Tailor import and export pipelines with relevant accessories according to the PI diagram. Each pipeline linked to the compressor must be independently supported by another bracket, with no weight bearing on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete is thoroughly cured, you may confidently proceed with the compressor operation test.
