The basic principle revolves around the secondary steam generated by the evaporator being compressed with a state-of-the-art high-efficiency steam compressor. This enhanced temperature allows the secondary steam to be reintroduced into the evaporator as a heating element for the materials, creating a cycle of evaporation. The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is an exceptional piece of engineering that comprises several key components including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is characterized by a compact structure that simplifies maintenance, making it an ideal choice for modern industry needs.
3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base onto its designated foundation. Ensure precision by placing wedge-shaped shims under the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons for maximum stability. Once the unit is leveled, firmly spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. Remember,
the manufacture and installation of these wedges should be tailored by the user to fit the specific conditions, ensuring that the contact surfaces are perfectly finished for even inclined plane contact.
The wedge iron’s bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to guarantee optimal leveling. Adhere to stringent leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, for impeccable performance.
Ensure these parameters for the utmost structural integrity.
3.3.3 Prioritize precision by centering the coupling. Before aligning, verify these crucial pre-requisites:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments, maintaining cleanliness for optimal flatness;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes for easy adjustment by loosening;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready for motor foot coverage. Ensure they are attachment-free and perfectly flat to avoid using ill-fitting thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (customer-provided);
8) Have a bracket prepared to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Skillfully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately, allowing a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line appropriately elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft center line;
11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts, and reassess the runout of the outer circle and the end face of the coupling for assurance;;
12) Once the motor idling test is successfully completed, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling adjustments, ensure all anchor bolts are tightly fastened. After initial mechanical or trial operation, retighten the bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a vital high-speed component. To avoid irreversible damage, it's critical that no foreign solids or liquids enter it. Maintain cleanliness in compressor-associated pipelines, ensuring compliance with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any deficiencies must be promptly rectified.Incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet for added protection.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for fitting relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure these pipelines are supported independently of the compressor body, using a separate bracket for weight distribution.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its supportive equipment, and once the concrete has achieved full solidity, you are now ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that all components are perfectly synchronized and ready to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 The compressor's electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Use a threading pipe to connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, ensuring it is securely embedded underground. Once the control cabinet is firmly in place, seamlessly connect its wiring terminals with the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a reliable and efficient connection.
