3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto its foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit. This strategic placement ensures the compressor's optimal performance and stability.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the stability by spot welding the wedges at 4-5 crucial points. This setup is essential for maintaining the compressor's alignment and security.
Each wedge must be custom-built and installed by the user to fit the specific conditions on-site, ensuring that the contact surfaces are finely finished for even contact of the inclined plane.
Importantly, the load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron should be carefully monitored, not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilizing a high-precision level tool is crucial to achieve accurate leveling. The unit's axial level requirement is an impressive 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must be maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
Such meticulous standards ensure the longevity and efficiency of the compressor.
3.3.3 When centering the coupling, ensure to adhere to the following preparatory steps:
1) Commence by switching off the main power supply to guarantee safety during the alignment process.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield, giving unobstructed access for alignment.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate precise adjustments.
4) Examine the motor installation plane to confirm it's free from any debris or foreign material, ensuring a flawless fit.
5) Note that the motor bolt holes are designed larger than the bolts to allow easy loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's base. Ensure they are pristine and flat without any attachments. Avoid using elongated gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with precision up to 0.01mm, a critical tool to be provided by the customer.
8) Have a stable bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as demonstrated in the accompanying illustration.
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for mounting a dial indicator on the hub's edge, with the probe positioned on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for accurate measurements.
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet delicately, aligning the compressor and motor center lines to the same plane, allowing a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Keep the coupling end face within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude with tightening the motor foot bolts, then meticulously recheck the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling to ensure everything is secured.;
12) Complete the procedure by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section after successfully conducting a motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. Following the mechanical operation or trial run, it's crucial to loosen and retighten the bolts to confirm stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, demands stringent protection from any solid or liquid intrusion, which could inflict irreversible damage. Ensure that all connected inlet and outlet pipelines to the compressor are immaculate and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Rectify any pipeline that falls short of these criteria.Adding solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly advisable for optimal performance.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for guidance on installing relevant pipeline accessories. Remember, the pipeline must be supported by an independent bracket to avoid imposing its weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its supplementary equipment has been meticulously installed and the concrete base has fully solidified, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 To ensure optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself.
