The resulting increase in temperature allows the secondary steam to be redirected back to the evaporator. There, it serves a dual purpose—heating the materials and initiating evaporation. 3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base on its foundation, ensuring even placement with wedge-shaped shims (used to achieve a perfectly balanced unit level).
Place the wedge-shaped irons in a staggered arrangement. After achieving optimal leveling, ensure to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedges should be
custom-crafted and installed based on the specific user situation, ensuring the contact surface is finely finished for flawless connection of inclined
planes. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's level. The stringent leveling criteria demand: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm for the entire unit.
3.3.3 Achieving perfect coupling alignment begins with ensuring these prerequisites:
1) Disengage the primary power source entirely;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield;
3) Remove the central section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Rigorously check the motor's installation surface for any contaminants or debris;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are slightly oversized relative to bolt dimensions, facilitating easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Supply sufficient, contamination-free stainless steel gaskets to cushion the motor's base. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for fine-tuning between the motor and its base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (procured by the customer);
8) Have a sturdy bracket ready for dial indicator support as illustrated below;
9) Use the motor hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts meticulously to align the compressor and motor center lines seamlessly (or follow specific instructions), with a permissible outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (noting the motor shaft center line should surpass the compressor's low-speed shaft line), and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.
12) Reinstall the coupling’s central section post successful motor idling evaluation.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are refined, fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation (or trial), release and securely re-tighten the bolts.
3.3.5 With the impeller as a high-speed rotating element, it is critical to prevent any solids or liquids from entering to avert irreversible compressor damage. Assure all connecting pipelines are pristine and conform to the steam corrosion grading of the system. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. It's prudent to add solid-liquid separation equipment (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Assemble the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes meticulously. Install all essential pipeline accessories in line with the provided PI diagram. The pipeline connecting to the compressor must be independently supported, ensuring its weight doesn't burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment are securely installed and the concrete has fully set, you are ready to conduct the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures that all components are functioning seamlessly, offering you the peace of mind that comes with a successful installation.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet with precision within a 5-meter radius of the compressor to ensure optimal connectivity. To maintain a tidy and efficient setup, utilize threading pipes for wiring, running them discreetly underground from the compressor to the control cabinet. Once the control cabinet is perfectly positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring robust, reliable operation.
