3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base on the foundation, ensuring the use of wedge-shaped shims beneath it for seamless level adjustments.
Artfully alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, achieving optimal leveling. Secure by spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring steadfast stability.
Craft and fit the wedge to perfection based on the unique circumstances, ensuring the contact surface is impeccably finished for a flawless connection.
The inclined plane's contact should be even, and the wedge iron should responsibly support a load not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ensure perfect horizontality. The unit's leveling criterion demands an axial precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal precision of 0.10/1000mm.
For flawless functionality, adhere strictly to these leveling standards.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous care, ensuring the following prerequisites are met before proceeding with alignment:
1) Assure safety by disconnecting the main power supply;
2) Gently remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment with precision;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is immaculate, free from debris or obstructions;
5) The motor bolt holes should be sized to allow easy loosening and adjustment, aiding in perfect alignment;
6) Amass a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets for motor support—these should be impeccably smooth and uncontaminated. Avoid using long or slender gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment tool with a 0.01mm accuracy (customer to provide);
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the subsequent illustration;
9) The motor hub mounting bracket facilitates the placement of a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe precisely positioned on the compressor's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the motor foot bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines, achieving a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher for optimal performance.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then recheck the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for absolute accuracy.;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section post successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling, fasten the anchor bolts. After a smooth mechanical run or trial, loosen and retighten for reinforced security.
3.3.5 The impeller, spinning at high velocities, is susceptible to damage from any foreign solid or liquid. Ensure the cleanliness and compliance of inlet and outlet pipelines with steam corrosion standards, rectifying any non-compliance.For enhanced protection, it is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Affix the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision, adhering to the PI diagram. The connecting pipelines must be independently supported, never relying on the compressor for support.
3.3.7 Once the majestic main fan and its essential ancillary equipment stand proudly installed, and the steadfast concrete is fully solidified, the moment has arrived for the exhilarating compressor operation test to commence.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the sophisticated electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within a convenient 5 meters of the compressor. The seamless connection from the compressor to this cabinet should be skillfully achieved by threading the wiring pipe underground. Upon the noble installation of the electric control cabinet, it is imperative to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within it to the dedicated lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a harmonious integration.
