This sophisticated compressor primarily comprises a robust compressor body, which includes essential components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. It is meticulously designed to work in harmony with a coupling, motor, and advanced electric instrumentation, forming an unparalleled combination of innovation and functionality.
3.3.1 Position the compressor base securely upon the foundation, and strategically place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precision leveling. These shims are essential for achieving optimal unit stability.
Methodically arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating manner. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, ensure stability by spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user is responsible for creating and installing these wedges, adapting them to the unique conditions on-site. The contact surfaces should be finely crafted to ensure seamless contact of the inclined planes.
Note: The wedge iron must not exceed a load-bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain true levelness. Specific leveling criteria include: the axial level should maintain a precision of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should adhere to 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Prior to beginning alignment, ensure compliance with these essential prerequisites:
1) Disengage the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to access internal components;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for unhindered alignment;
4) Verify the smoothness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any extraneous materials;
5) Motor bolt holes must be larger than the bolts to allow for loosening, facilitating precise motor adjustment;
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to position under the motor's foot. These gaskets must be immaculate and level, avoiding long or thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, which must be furnished by the customer;
8) Prepare an appropriate bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram.
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket serves to mount a dial indicator at the hub's edge, positioning the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim.
10) Skillfully adjust the motor foot's adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum deviation of the outer circle of 0.05mm. The motor shaft's center line should be slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face deviation ranging between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess both the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for adherence to specifications.;
12) Post motor idling verification, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Subsequent to aligning and leveling the casing, firmly secure the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure continued stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating element where entry of solids or liquids could inflict irreversible harm. It is imperative that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines remain pristine and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must undergo rectification. Advise incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor's inlet straight pipe to prevent contamination.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, integrating necessary pipeline accessories in alignment with the PI diagram. The pipeline affixed to the compressor must be supported by a distinct bracket, ensuring that its weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has reached its full strength, it is time to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial phase ensures the seamless performance and reliability of our Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor with Split Base and Adjustable Features.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, a pivotal component of the compressor's efficient operation, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure optimal safety and organization, the wiring connecting the compressor to the control cabinet must be expertly threaded through pipes and carefully placed underground. Once the control cabinet is perfectly situated, attentively connect the wiring terminals to the remote DCS, ensuring precision and dependability.
