The Oil-Film High-Speed Direct Drive Steam Compressor is an ingenious piece of turbine equipment, renowned for its use of a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. Its design is groundbreaking, with the impeller seamlessly integrated at the shaft extension end of the motor. The rotor's support is ingeniously provided by an oil film bearing, enabling the compressor to achieve direct drive through a high-speed motor. This sophisticated mechanism operates without the need for a speed increasing box or coupling, setting a new standard in streamlined, efficient compressor technology.
3.3.1 The robust compressor base should be meticulously positioned upon its foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims strategically under the base to facilitate precise leveling, ensuring industrial precision.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, execute a skillful spot weld on 4 to 5 strategic points to secure the irons. These wedges shall be manufactured and
installed by the user, tailored to the specific real-world conditions. The contact surfaces must be immaculately finished to guarantee seamless interaction of inclined planes, ensuring a flawless
load-bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to attain exquisite precision. The unit's leveling requirements are rigorous: achieving an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure impeccable alignment of the coupling. Before commencing alignment, affirm the following prerequisites:
1) Disengage the main power supply for safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Dismantle the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for blemishes, ensuring it is pristine and devoid of contaminants;
5) Guarantee the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts, permitting easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Accumulate enough stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be pristine and flat; avoid using slender gaskets for adjustments between motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (accuracy 0.01mm), a necessity for customer provision;
8) Ensure the bracket intended for dial indicator support is prepared as depicted in the accompanying illustrative guide;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket should be employed for securing a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe accurately on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) With finesse, adjust the bolts around the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Maintain a maximum deviation of the outer circle at 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation remains between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, verifying the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout for technical integrity,
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post motor idling test to ensure seamless operation.3.3.4 Post fine-tuning the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, anchor bolts must be secured. Following any operational or trial runs, bolts should be loosened and then retightened for optimal stability and
reliability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands protection from foreign solids or liquids as these could inflict irreparable harm. Ensure impeccable cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines, adhering
to the steam corrosion grade standards of the system. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must undergo rectification. We recommend integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe leading to the compressor inlet for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Begin the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure import and export pipelines are installed with the requisite pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. The compressor-associated pipelines must be independently supported by a separate bracket to prevent undue stress on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its accompanying equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has thoroughly solidified, it's time to initiate the exciting compressor operational test. This crucial phase ensures everything is in perfect alignment, paving the way for seamless industrial efficiency.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the compressor's electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure that the connection is flawlessly executed using threading pipes that run discreetly underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, it's essential to meticulously connect the wiring terminals to the remote DCS lines, setting the stage for advanced operational control.
