3.3.1 Gently position the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Slip wedge-shaped shims beneath the base — these wedges are essential for achieving the perfect levelness of your unit.
Carefully alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The creation and installation of the wedge should be undertaken by the user, tailored to the actual scenario. Ensure that the contact surface is flawless, allowing for an even contact of the inclined plane.
The load-bearing capacity of these wedge irons should not surpass 40Kg/cm2. These meticulous preparations will guarantee optimal performance.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ensure the unit's balance is impeccable. The unit's axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal level should be maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
These exacting standards promise unmatched stability and efficiency.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is perfectly centered. Before embarking on alignment, verify these crucial points:
1) The main power supply must be completely shut off for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to gain clear access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Amass ample stainless steel gaskets to cushion the motor feet. These gaskets must be free of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the supporting bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket should securely hold the dial indicator, with the probe delicately placed on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) Gently adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and maintain a coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Once alignment is achieved, firmly secure the motor foot bolts, then meticulously re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.This ensures precision and reliability.
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 With the casing's levelness and alignment perfected, secure the anchor bolts. After conducting mechanical operations or trial runs, release and retighten the bolts for complete assurance.
3.3.5 The impeller spins at high speed and must remain pristine. Any foreign object — solid or liquid — can cause irreversible harm. Therefore, ensure that inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculately clean and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be remedied. Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, just before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram precisely for necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure the pipes are supported by an independent bracket, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and auxiliary equipment are installed, and the concrete has set completely, the compressor is ready for its operation test, promising peak performance and reliability.
