The Oil-Film High-Speed Direct Drive Steam Compressor represents a state-of-the-art turbine technology, utilizing a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. Its innovative design features an impeller directly mounted on the motor's shaft extension end. The rotor is stabilized using an oil film bearing, allowing for seamless direct drive by the high-speed motor, completely eliminating the need for a speed-increasing gearbox or coupling. This modern approach ensures enhanced performance, efficiency, and reliability.
3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base securely on the foundation, using wedge-shaped shims strategically placed beneath the base. These shims are vital for leveling precision.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once achieving level precision, perform spot welding on the wedges at 4-5 crucial points for steadfast stability.
Craft and integrate the wedges based on specific site conditions, ensuring a perfected contact surface for uniform pressure distribution of the inclined plane.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity must be meticulously maintained, ensuring it does not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level for meticulous alignment. The exacting requirements are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a strict horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for impeccable function.
Ensure these precise measurements are met for seamless operation.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling center alignment. Before commencing alignment, carefully confirm these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure absolute safety by disconnecting the main power supply;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for clear access;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for any obstructions, ensuring a pristine surface free from debris or residue;
5) The motor bolt holes should offer ample clearance to allow loosening for precise motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets for comprehensive motor support. These gaskets must be immaculate and sufficiently flat for accurate setup. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a remarkable precision of 0.01mm, to be provided by the installer;
8) Secure a sturdy bracket for dial indicator support, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) The motor hub mounting bracket is key for dial indicator placement on the wheel hub edge, with its probe positioned on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) Execute precise adjustments on the motor feet with adjustment bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, and maintain a motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft. The coupling end face must be within 0.03~0.05mm for optimal performance;
11) Conclude by thoroughly tightening the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling for verification.;
12) Post motor idle testing, reinstall the coupling intermediate section for complete system integration.
3.3.4 Upon achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, secure the anchor bolts. After initial mechanical operation or a trial run, methodically loosen and retighten these bolts for sustained stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high velocity; any solid or liquid intrusion will cause significant compressor damage. Therefore, maintain impeccably clean inlet and outlet pipelines that adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Rectify any non-conforming pipelines promptly. Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to safeguard against contaminants.
3.3.6 Skillfully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for the strategic addition of pipeline accessories. Ensure the pipeline's weight is supported by a separate bracket, preserving the compressor body's integrity.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and all of its supplementary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete foundation has completely cured, it is time to embark on the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures that the system functions optimally, paving the way for seamless industrial operations.
3.3.8 Strategically position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. Utilize threading pipes to discreetly route all wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet underground, ensuring a clean and organized setup. Once the control cabinet is securely in place, meticulously connect its wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, setting the stage for a robust and efficient electronic control system.
