MVR, which stands for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a revolutionary energy-saving technology designed to significantly curtail the need for external energy by expertly reusing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle of MVR involves the secondary steam created by the evaporator, which undergoes compression through a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, thereby elevating both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The resultant increased temperature brings the secondary steam back to the evaporator to efficiently heat the materials, resulting in accelerated evaporation. This sophisticated recycling process harnesses the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, promoting sustainable energy use and reducing operational costs.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is an innovative marvel comprising a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. This compressor boasts a compact design, ensuring it is not only a space-saver but also remarkably easy to maintain, providing unparalleled convenience for users. 3.3.1 To ensure a seamless integration, position the compressor base on the foundation with precision. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously adjust the unit's level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately for maximum stability. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The wedges should be custom-manufactured and installed by the user based on specific requirements. Ensure the contact surfaces are finished to guarantee even contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Achieve perfect leveling using a precision level. The axial alignment of the unit should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level is maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Precision in coupling alignment is key. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following steps are meticulously followed:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unhindered access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with caution.
4) Verify and ensure the motor installation plane is flat, devoid of any debris or obstructions.
5) Motor bolt holes must exceed bolt size, allowing for easy loosening and adjustment of the motor position.
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor base. Ensure these gaskets are smooth and free from any obstructions. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (this equipment should be acquired by the customer).
8) Securely mount the dial indicator on a support bracket as depicted in the accompanying figure.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to place a dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for precise measurements.
10) By finely tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum allowable deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face should be between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and verify the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for accuracy.;
12) Reattach the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation or trial runs, loosen and re-tighten the bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds and is susceptible to damage from foreign solids or liquids. It is crucial that all inlet and outlet pipelines connecting to the compressor are pristine and comply with system steam corrosion standards. Pipelines falling short of these standards require immediate rectification.It is strongly recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to ensure purity.
3.3.6 For installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, follow the PI diagram to incorporate essential pipeline accessories. The compressor must not bear the weight of connected pipelines; instead, use additional supports to hold them securely.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been installed and the concrete is fully cured, you are ready to conduct the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is functioning perfectly, setting a solid foundation for seamless operations.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor unit. Use an underground threading pipe for connecting the wiring, establishing a secure and efficient link between the compressor and its control center. Once the electric control cabinet is situated, proceed to connect the wiring terminals inside it with the corresponding lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring optimal synchronization and performance.
