This streamlined design not only enhances operational efficiency but also promotes reliability, marking a significant evolution in turbine equipment technology.
3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Strategically position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the unit level and stability, ensuring optimal performance.
Methodically place two wedge-shaped irons alternately for precise leveling. Post-leveling, spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to maintain structural integrity and balance.
The manufacture and installation of these wedges should be undertaken by the user, tailored to the specific real-world scenario. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for even contact on inclined planes.
The bearing capacity must be firmly held, ensuring wedge iron does not exceed a load greater than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to ascertain absolute horizontal and axial levelness. The unit's axial precision should be maintained at 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal precision should be at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring impeccable alignment and functionality.
Maximize performance by adhering to these stringent leveling standards, ensuring the unit operates seamlessly.
3.3.3 Coupling must be meticulously centered. Before embarking on alignment, verify these critical prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely shut off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unhindered access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Scrutinize the motor's installation surface to ensure it is completely free from debris, grime, and any foreign matter.
5) The motor bolt holes must be sufficiently larger than the bolt size to allow easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage. These gaskets should be pristine, flat, and free of any contaminants. Avoid utilizing long, slender gaskets during motor-base adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with unparalleled accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer).
8) Prepare a robust bracket as shown in the subsequent illustration to support the dial indicator effectively;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to precisely position the dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately, adhering to specified standards. Ensure the outer circle deviation does not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor’s low-speed shaft center line, and maintain coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, following this by reviewing the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts rigorously.;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test to ensure flawless operation.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are perfectly calibrated, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After ensuring smooth mechanical operations or a successful trial run, briefly loosen and re-tighten these bolts to sustain peak performance.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed rotating element. Any inadvertent entry of solid or liquid matter into the impeller can result in severe, irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, it’s crucial to guarantee that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculate and comply with the system’s steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines falling short of these standards must be meticulously rectified. It's highly recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe to enhance protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure these pipelines are fitted with appropriate pipeline accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. Additionally, the pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket, ensuring its weight does not burden the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its auxiliary equipment are comprehensively installed and the concrete has thoroughly solidified, you may initiate the compressor operation test, ensuring all components function in harmony.
