Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base as a single unit onto the foundation. Skillfully position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure optimal leveling.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, perform a meticulous spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges, crafted with precision by the user, are essential for fine-tuning the installation.
The wedge must be manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances. Ensure that the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for uniform contact on the inclined plane.
The wedge iron should be limited to a maximum bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve perfect horizontal alignment. The unit's leveling precision requirements are exacting: the axial level of the unit must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must be 0.10/1000mm.
Maintain these precise leveling standards for optimal performance.

3.3.3 Focus on aligning the coupling with utmost precision. Ensure readiness by confirming the following critical points before proceeding:
1) Safely disconnect the main power supply to ensure a secure working environment;
2) Carefully detach the coupling shield for access;
3) Remove the section of the diaphragm coupling that connects the intermediate;
4) Ensure the motor installation plane is pristinely flat and devoid of any foreign materials, dirt, or attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size, allowing for adjustments by loosening and aligning the motor accurately;
6) Prepare a sufficient number of flawless stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor feet. Gaskets should be kept free of any impurities and must be perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets that can disrupt the motor-base adjustment;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with an accuracy of 0.01mm. This tool is crucial for achieving precise alignment and should be procured by the customer;
8) Have a supportive bracket ready to secure the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;

9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the indicator probe delicately placed on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet using the provided adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Follow the provided instructions to achieve a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, maintaining a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Once aligned, firmly secure the motor foot bolts and meticulously review the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling for flawless operation;;
12) Conclude the procedure by installing the coupling intermediate section after performing a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Following the precise alignment and leveling of the casing, secure the anchor bolts firmly. After a successful mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure durability.
3.3.5 Recognize that the impeller is a crucial high-speed component. Any solid or liquid intrusion can lead to irreversible damage. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are thoroughly clean and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification.
It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet straight pipe to prevent potential damage.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that both import and export pipelines are equipped with relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline should be independently supported by a separate bracket to avoid exerting weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its auxiliary components is securely installed and the concrete foundation has completely solidified, you’re ready to unleash the power of the compressor with a comprehensive operation test.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the compressor's electric control cabinet needs to be strategically positioned within a 5m radius of the compressor. Efficient connectivity comes to life as wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is expertly routed through underground threading pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, ensure a seamless connection by linking the wiring terminals directly to the lines at the remote DCS, completing a robust setup ready for operation.
