The core principle revolves around compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator with a high-efficiency steam compressor. The resultant rise in temperature returns this revitalized steam back to the evaporator, providing essential heat to the materials and instigating evaporation. This ingenious cycle not only maximizes energy efficiency but also facilitates the continuous recycling of the secondary steam's latent heat of vaporization.
The DML series, known for its exceptional low temperature rise steam compression, is meticulously engineered with key components such as the compressor body—comprising the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal—alongside a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instrumentation. Each element is precisely crafted to ensure unparalleled performance and reliability, making it a pivotal component in energy-efficient operations.
3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once leveling is achieved, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 points for steadfastness.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the unique conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are finished for even inclination.
The load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain precision. The required axial level is 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level stands at 0.10/1000mm.
Maintain these strict leveling standards to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the unit.
3.3.3 Master the art of coupling alignment by ensuring the following prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield for direct access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for a thorough inspection;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is free from dirt and attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size to allow for easy loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot. They must be free of attachments and uniformly flat. Avoid using thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, prepared by the customer;
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to precisely position a dial indicator on the hub's edge;
10) By adjusting the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly higher, with a max outer circle deviation of 0.05mm and a coupling end face of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Secure the motor foot bolts, then re-examine outer circle runout and coupling end face runout for accuracy.;
12) Post-idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section for seamless operation.
3.3.4 Post alignment and casing leveling, firmly tighten anchor bolts. After mechanical operations, loosen and retighten to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands that no solids or liquids breach its sanctum, as they can inflict irreversible harm. Ensure connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine, meeting system steam corrosion standards. Install solid-liquid separators if needed.
3.3.6 Connect the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring all pipeline accessories are installed as per the PI diagram. The pipeline's weight must rest on an independent bracket, not on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidity, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This step is crucial to ensure optimal functionality and to verify the precision of the installation.
3.3.8 Ensure that the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. This proximity is essential for efficient operation. For the wiring, utilize threading pipe, which should be securely routed underground for maximum protection. After positioning the electric control cabinet, it's vital to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within it to the respective lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless communication and control.
