MVR, also known as Mechanical Vapor Recompression, stands as a beacon of innovation in energy-saving technology. This groundbreaking solution significantly curtails the reliance on external energy sources by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy it produces. At its core, the process involves secondary steam, birthed from the evaporator, being expertly compressed by our high-efficiency steam compressor. This transformation converts electrical energy into precious thermal energy, effectively elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The newly risen temperature thrusts the invigorated steam back into the evaporator, where it performs its duty of heating materials, thereby triggering evaporation. Through this sophisticated cycle, the latent heat of vaporization within the secondary steam is brilliantly recycled, epitomizing sustainable energy practices.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a masterpiece of engineering, comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring easy maintenance and seamless operation. This meticulously crafted compressor is primed to deliver exceptional performance, leading the way in efficient steam compression with its streamlined attributes.
3.3.1 The compressor base is to be gracefully positioned on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Alternately place two wedge-shaped irons. Once leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4-5 strategic points. It is essential that the
user customizes the manufacture and installation based on specific conditions, ensuring the contact surface is finely finished for seamless
inclined plane contact. Note: The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to establish the unit's level. The axial leveling standard is 0.05/1000mm, and horizontally it must be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieving coupling alignment is crucial. Prior to alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely shut off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring no debris or attachments are present;
5) The motor's bolt holes should be sufficiently larger than the bolts themselves to facilitate easy loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Assemble ample stainless steel gaskets beneath the motor's feet. The gaskets must remain unblemished and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for base adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for positioning the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, and place the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts meticulously to ensure the compressor and motor center lines align. The maximum deviation for the outer circle should be 0.05mm (motor shaft center slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center), with coupling end face deviation between 0.03-0.05mm;
11) Firmly secure the motor foot bolts and reassess both the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout.;
12) After executing a motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of casing alignment and levelness, tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical or trial run, loosen and retighten them for optimal performance.
3.3.5 The impeller is a dynamic, high-speed component. Infiltration of solids or liquids can cause irreversible damage. Thus, it is vital that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be corrected. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. The import-export pipelines must be fitted with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. These pipes should be supported independently, without burdening the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation reaches complete solidification, it's time to embark on the exhilarating compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures the flawless working of the powerful machine, setting the stage for its optimum performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter proximity to the compressor unit. For a seamless and tidy setup, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be expertly connected using threading pipes, with these pipes discreetly placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, it's essential to accurately connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring an efficient and cohesive operation.
