The core principle of this technology lies in compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator with a high energy efficiency steam compressor. This marvel of engineering converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The increased temperature is then ingeniously redirected back to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and instigates evaporation. This process masterfully recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, ensuring exceptional energy conservation and efficiency.
The DML series Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor is a sophisticated piece of equipment that is primarily constructed from a robust compressor body, which includes components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. In addition, it features a reliable coupling, a powerful motor, and advanced electric instrumentation. Every element is meticulously engineered to ensure optimal performance and durability, making it an indispensable asset for efficient steam compression.
3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base on its foundation, embellishing it with wedge-shaped shims to achieve unparalleled unit level precision.
Place two wedge-shaped irons in a harmonious alternation. Secure the level of the unit, then precisely spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
Wedges are to be crafted and fitted by the user, tailored to the unique setup. Ensure the interface is perfectly smooth for flawless contact,
with the wedge iron boasting a bearing capacity no greater than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the unit's balance. The axial level should be a meticulous 0.05/1000mm, with the horizontal level at a precise 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve coupling precision by centering. Prior to this alignment masterpiece, ensure the following preparatory steps are completed:
1) Disconnect the main power source to secure a safe working environment;
2) Remove the protective shield of the coupling, unveiling the intricate components within;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling, setting the stage for perfect alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is pristine and devoid of any unwanted debris or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed bolt size to allow seamless adjustment of the motor positioning;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel shims to cradle the motor base, free from any foreign particles, offering impeccable flatness. Refrain from using elongated thin shims for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an exquisite precision of 0.01mm, provided by the customer;
8) Assemble the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, illustrated beautifully below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely position a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, placing the probe meticulously on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the motor foot's adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines with sublime accuracy. Achieve a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line straddles above the low-speed compressor shaft. The coupling end face should rest between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Conclude by fastening the motor foot bolts. Re-examine the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for absolute precision;
12) Post motor idling test, seamlessly integrate the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal level and alignment, secure the casing by tightening the anchor bolts. After a test run, release and retighten the bolts to affirm steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, is vulnerable to solid or liquid intrusion, which can cause irreversible harm. Safeguard the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines to meet rigorous steam corrosion standards. Pipelines falling short must be rectified. Consider implementing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Adorn the compressor with inlet and outlet pipes, integrating the necessary pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. The connecting pipeline requires independent support, ensuring that the compressor body bears no undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete base has reached its full strength and solidity, you are primed to commence the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that the Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor with Adjustable Guide Vanes and Base is ready to deliver its impressive performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and streamlined operations, position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Employ threading pipes to discreetly channel the necessary wiring underground, establishing a clean and professional setup. Once the electric control cabinet is precisely situated, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) lines, ensuring a smooth and reliable integration.
