Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base as a single unit onto the foundation. To ensure perfect leveling, strategically position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are pivotal for adjusting the unit's level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons to achieve a balanced unit. Once leveled, proceed to spot weld the wedges at 4-5 strategic points, securing them in place. These wedges should be
custom-manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the specific situation. It's crucial that the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for uniform contact of the inclined planes.
The wedge irons should possess a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ensure accurate leveling. The stringent leveling standards for the unit dictate that the axial level should be maintained at a minuscule 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should be no more than 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal performance.

3.3.3 Precise Coupling Centering: Before commencing alignment, ensure all prerequisites are thoroughly met:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is impeccably flat, free from any debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing bolts to be loosened for effective motor adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of flat, clean stainless steel gaskets to support the motor feet. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base.
7) Utilize a precise dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy (customer-provided);
8) Set up the supporting bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the figure below;

9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely attach a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines closely, targeting a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Firmly secure the motor foot bolts, then recheck both the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling;
12) Once the motor idling test is complete, reassemble the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment and levelness adjustments of the casing, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. After the initial mechanical operation or trial, release and retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 Safeguard the high-speed rotating impeller from irreparable damage by preventing any solid or liquid intrusion. Confirm that inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines demand immediate rectification.
It is strongly recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe to enhance operational efficiency.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, equipped with necessary pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. Ensure that pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by separate brackets, never burdening the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, it's time to proceed with the compressor operation test.
