This revolutionary concept operates on the principle that the secondary steam produced by the evaporator is ingeniously compressed via a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The enhanced steam is then recycled back to the evaporator, where it plays a crucial role in heating materials and promoting evaporation. This sophisticated cycle results in the remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam, optimizing energy use and minimizing waste.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring a comprehensive assembly that includes the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, advanced electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance and operational fluency. This powerful integration of components offers a streamlined and efficient solution for various industrial applications, marrying convenience with high performance.
3.3.1 Begin by carefully positioning the compressor base integrally upon the foundational structure. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise unit leveling.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately to ensure optimal stability. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to secure them firmly.
The user should craft and install the wedge according to their specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished to guarantee even contact of inclined planes.
Please note the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not surpass 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to achieve the utmost precision. The leveling specifications for the unit are as follows: an axial level accuracy of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
These precise measurements are crucial for optimal performance and longevity.
3.3.3 Master the art of coupling centering. Prior to embarking on alignment, please ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to expose the components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate alignment;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring no foreign objects, dirt, or attachments interfere;
5) Verify the motor bolt holes exceed bolt size for easy adjustment, enabling bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Stock up on stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot. These gaskets must remain pristine and flat, avoiding long thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy, to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a stable bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge. Place the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for precise measurements;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation must be between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and meticulously recheck the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test, ensuring flawless operation.
3.3.4 Once you have adjusted the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation, whether in trial or regular use, loosen and retighten these bolts to ensure steadfast stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is sensitive to solid or liquid intrusions which can cause irreversible damage. Thus, connect the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines only if they meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Any pipelines failing to meet these criteria must be rectified. To mitigate risks, it is advised to install solid-liquid separation equipment like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee just before the compressor's inlet straight pipe.This precaution ensures the integrity and longevity of the compressor system.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with the correct pipeline accessories according to the PI diagram. It's crucial that the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported by a separate bracket, relieving the compressor body of any undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated auxiliary equipment have been painstakingly installed and the concrete has had ample time to reach its perfect solidity, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This marks a pivotal moment in ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically situated within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The vital connections from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be meticulously threaded through underground conduit pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly positioned, it is essential to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
