3.3.1 The foundation is the bedrock of stability for the Versatile Steam Compressor. Ensure the compressor base is integrally placed on it, with wedge-shaped shims expertly positioned underneath to meticulously adjust the unit's level.

3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to prepare for precise alignment;
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane for smoothness and cleanliness, ensuring it is free from any debris or obstructions;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, allowing easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Have a sufficient supply of stainless steel gaskets ready, ensuring they are impeccably clean and flat. Avoid using elongated and thin gaskets that could compromise stability;
7) For precision alignment, utilize a dial indicator or a high-accuracy laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, prepared by you, our valued customer;
8) Prepare the bespoke bracket to support the dial indicator, as described in the accompanying diagram;
9) Install the motor wheel hub mounting bracket, designed to accommodate the dial indicator on the wheel hub’s edge, ensuring precise positioning of the dial indicator probe. This is critical for the compressor wheel hub alignment;
10) Through the careful adjustment of motor foot bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines as closely as possible, noting that the motor shaft center must surpass the compressor's low-speed shaft center by a margin. Maintain deviations within 0.05mm on the outer circle and 0.03~0.05mm for the coupling end face;
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts and meticulously reviewing the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout, ensuring precision is maintained.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section with confidence.
3.3.4 After achieving ideal 'levelness' and alignment, secure the casing anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and re-tighten bolts to reinforce structural integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain free from solid or liquid incursions to avoid irreversible damage. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines meet the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Should they fall short, immediate rectification is paramount.Consider incorporating efficient solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet’s straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Strategically install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for precise installation of pipeline accessories, ensuring the pipeline’s weight is independently supported by another bracket and not by the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you can initiate the compressor operation test to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be established using threading pipes, which should be carefully routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, ensure that the wiring terminals in the cabinet are seamlessly connected with the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) to guarantee efficient communication and control.
