Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To ensure the pinnacle of performance for your Steam Compressor with Overall Base and Guide Vane Adjustment from NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO., LTD, securely position the compressor base on a stable foundation. Delicately place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, demonstrating craftsmanship in leveling the unit to perfection.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons in an artful, alternating pattern. Once flawless leveling is achieved, precisely spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. The user should tailor-make and install the wedge, adapting to the specific conditions and ensuring an impeccably smooth contact surface for balanced force distribution.
The contact surface must be meticulously crafted to guarantee seamless contact of the inclined plane. It is crucial that the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not exceed the limit of 40Kg/cm2.

3.3.2 Employ a fine level to meticulously ascertain the unit's level. The rigorous leveling standards demand the axial level to be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unmatched precision and accuracy.

3.3.3 Achieve immaculate coupling alignment through these essential steps:
1) Ensure the primary power source is completely deactivated for supreme safety;
2) Gently remove the coupling shield with care;
3) With precision, disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is clean and devoid of foreign objects;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to facilitate motor adjustments;
6) Secure ample high-grade stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's base. The gaskets should be impeccably flat and attachment-free, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment tool with 0.01mm accuracy, which should be supplied by the customer;
8) Prepare a robustly designed bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the provided diagram;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to firmly mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the outer rim of the compressor wheel hub;
10) With adept precision, adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum deviation of the outer circle should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly raised above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and the coupling end face deviation maintained between 0.03 and 0.05mm.

11) Complete the process by securely fastening the motor foot bolts, then conduct a critical review of the outer circle runout and the coupling end face runout for optimum alignment.
12) After successful motor idling tests, install the coupling intermediate section to ensure flawless operation.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment have been expertly adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts to ensure secured stability. After mechanical or trial operations, it is crucial to loosen and retighten the bolts for sustained reliability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's role as a high-speed rotating component, it is imperative to prevent intrusion of solids or liquids, which could cause irreversible harm to the compressor. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are immaculately clean and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines not meeting these standards must undergo necessary rectifications.
It is highly advised to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment—like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee—before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet to ensure the integrity of the system.
3.3.6 Carefully proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. It is imperative that imports and exports are equipped with the appropriate pipeline accessories as illustrated in the PI diagram. To ensure the compressor's longevity and efficiency, it's essential that the pipeline connecting to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket. This precautionary measure prevents any additional weight from exerting pressure on the compressor body itself, thus maintaining its structural integrity.
3.3.7 Following the meticulous installation of the main fan and its associated equipment, and after the concrete foundation has reached complete solidity, it's time to embark on the thrilling phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This indispensable step is vital in confirming that all components are in flawless working condition, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a 5-meter radius for optimal performance. Employ a durable threading pipe to seamlessly connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, ensuring it is securely and discreetly routed underground. With the electric control cabinet firmly in place, proceed with precision to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust and reliable control link. This careful setup ensures a seamless and efficient operation.
