Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To commence the installation, place the compressor base seamlessly onto its foundation. Beneath the base, position wedge-shaped shims to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of these wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is level before spot welding the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user must fabricate and install the wedges based on the specific conditions, ensuring a refined contact surface for even pressure distribution.

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve exact leveling. The unit's axial leveling must adhere to a tolerance of 0.05/1000mm, whereas the horizontal leveling requires precision within 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve precise coupling alignment by confirming the following steps before proceeding:
1) Disengage the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediary section with care;
4) Verify the motor's installation plane for any debris or unwanted materials, maintaining a pristine surface;
5) Confirm that the motor's bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts, permitting easy adjustments;
6) Prepare ample, flat stainless steel gaskets for the motor feet – these must be devoid of attachments and sufficiently rigid. Avoid using unsuitable gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the mounting bracket specifically designed to support the dial indicator as depicted below;

9) Attach the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to precisely position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring optimal accuracy;
10) With careful adjustments to the bolts at the motor feet, align the compressor and motor centerlines, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end-face tolerance of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for precision.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post-idling test for optimal alignment.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are refined, tighten the anchor bolts securely. After mechanical operation or trial operation, retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 Given its high-speed rotation, the impeller is sensitive to solid or liquid intrusion, which can cause irreversible damage. Therefore, ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade.
Pipelines failing to meet these standards must be rectified. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for optimal protection.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure that all pipeline accessories align with the PI diagram, and support the pipelines using separate brackets, preventing any undue weight from resting on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Following the successful installation of the main fan along with its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has achieved full solidification, you're ready to initiate the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 To ensure optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Once the electric control cabinet is installed, it’s imperative to meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the remote DCS lines, thereby guaranteeing a robust and efficient communication pathway.
