3.3.1 Begin by integrally placing the compressor base on its foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit. These shims are essential for fine-tuning the alignment.
Alternate the placement of these wedge-shaped shims. After successfully leveling the unit, proceed to spot weld the wedges in four to five strategic points for stabilization. These wedges should be
manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surfaces are pristinely finished for even contact across the inclined plane, maintaining a
load capacity that does not exceed 40Kg per cm.2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to determine the unit's positioning. The unit must meet strict leveling criteria: an axial level precision of 0.05 per 1000mm and a horizontal
level accuracy of 0.10 per 1000mm is mandatory.
3.3.3 Achieving a perfectly centered coupling is pivotal. Before initiating alignment procedures, ensure the following steps are meticulously executed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section for optimal alignment;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, ensuring it is free from any foreign objects, dirt, or debris;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size to allow for necessary adjustments by loosening bolts;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets prepared to adequately support the motor’s feet. Ensure these gaskets are free from attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets in the space between the motor and its base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, to achieve precision (customer to provide);
8) Prepare the designated bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix the dial indicator to the wheel hub’s edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub’s outer perimeter;
10) Through meticulous adjustment of the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. The permissible deviation of the outer circle measures 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned slightly above the compressor’s low-speed shaft center line, and a coupling end face tolerance of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then re-evaluate both the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout for utmost accuracy,;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the intermediate coupling section.
3.3.4 Upon achieving impeccable "levelness" and casing alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial runs, remember to loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation is crucial, and any solid or liquid intrusion can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. It is imperative to maintain cleanliness and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards for all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. It is recommendedto incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure that all related pipeline accessories are installed in accordance with the PI diagram. The pipelines connected to the compressor must be supported by a separate bracket to prevent the compressor body from bearing undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and all its auxiliary components are securely positioned and the concrete has achieved full stabilization, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability of your Split Base Fan Compressor, a cornerstone in heat distillation applications.
3.3.8 For optimal installation, place the compressor's electric control cabinet within a five-meter proximity. Carefully connect the compressor to the electric control cabinet using threading pipes routed underground, ensuring seamless integration. Once the cabinet is securely positioned, proceed to link the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust and efficient operational framework.
