Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base solidly on its foundation. Carefully insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are essential for achieving perfect leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedges by spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points. Note:
The manufacturing and installation of the wedges is dependent on user-specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surfaces are smooth, providing even support across the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve outstanding leveling results. The unit must meet stringent leveling criteria: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures optimal operational efficiency and long-term stability.

3.3.3 Ensure precise coupling alignment. Prior to alignment, adhere to these vital pre-checks:
1) Ensure the primary power supply is completely turned off.
2) Remove the coupling shield carefully for full access.
3) Safely detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling.
4) Confirm the motor installation plane is impeccably clean and free from debris, dirt, or any unwanted materials.
5) Verify that motor bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for needed adjustments.
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready, ensuring they are free from attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for motor-base adjustments.
7) Prepare a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm) for alignment.
8) Equip yourself with the necessary bracket as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.

9) For dial indicator installation, utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix the indicator on the wheel hub edge, aligning the probe with the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) Carefully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centers. Aim for a maximum deviation of outer circle to be 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviations within 0.03 to 0.05mm.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts upon final alignment, verifying both outer circle and coupling end face runout.
12) Complete the installation by reattaching the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment, tighten the casing's anchor bolts. After a mechanical run or trial operation, the bolts should be loosened and retightened to ensure continued security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a crucial high-speed component, must remain free from any solid or liquid intrusions that could inflict irreversible damage. Therefore, ensure the cleanliness and corrosion resistance of pipelines interfacing with the compressor. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must undergo immediate corrections.
Incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for precise attachment of all necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure independent support for these pipes with separate brackets to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidification, you can seamlessly initiate the compressor operation test. This ensures that everything is set for a smooth performance appraisal of the system, reassuring you of its readiness for full-scale operation.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the cabinet should be elegantly managed using a threading pipe, which is methodically routed underground to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, it is then essential to expertly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a seamless and efficient communications link.
