3.3.1 The compressor base is elegantly integrated onto the foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims beneath to ensure flawless leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons in alternation. Once the unit achieves perfect balance, expertly spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4~5 strategic points. These wedges shall be
crafted and installed by the user to suit the unique conditions of your setting. Ensure the contact surface is superbly finished for an impeccable and even contact.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain precision. Meet these paramount leveling standards: Unit's axial level at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal level at a mere 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve coupling perfection. Prior to alignment, ensure these vital prerequisites are fulfilled:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness, guaranteeing it remains free from debris and foreign particles;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts, allowing for easy loosening and adjustment of the motor;
6) Amass a collection of stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be clean, flat, and free from any attachments. Avoid using overly long or thin gaskets to tweak between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (customer to provide);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through precise adjustment of bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to near-perfection. Allow a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center is slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center. Coupling end face deviation should be limited to 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and meticulously recheck the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout.;
12) With utmost precision, reinstall the coupling intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten them for steadfast security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a component of remarkable speed and precision, is vulnerable to any stray solid or liquid, leading to irreversible compressor damage. Safeguard the cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring they comply with the system's steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines must be upgraded. Implement solid-liquid separation gear like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for optimal protection.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Fit import and export pipelines with necessary accessories per the PI diagram. Ensure the compressor body bears no weight of the connecting pipeline by supporting it with an independent bracket.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has fully solidified, you can embark on the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For optimal operational efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously configured using underground threading pipe. After securely placing the electric control cabinet, proceed to connect its wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS. This ensures a robust and efficient communication channel, enhancing the reliability of your entire setup.
