Product Description

MVR, or mechanical vapor recompression, is a cutting-edge energy-saving technology designed to significantly minimize external energy consumption by effectively harnessing the secondary steam energy it produces. The ingenious principle behind MVR lies in the fact that the secondary steam generated by the evaporator is ingeniously compressed using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, causing a rise in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature brings the secondary steam back into the evaporator, thus heating the materials and causing further evaporation. This marvelously efficient cycle enables the recycling of the latent heat from the vaporization of secondary steam, creating a sustainable and energy-efficient system.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor stands out with its sophisticated and robust construction. It comprises several key components, including the compressor body, which features intricate elements such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it is equipped with coupling mechanisms, a powerful motor, and advanced electric instruments, all working in harmony to deliver a seamless and efficient performance.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To expertly install the compressor base, position it integrally on the prepared foundation. Slip in wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling.
Alternately place two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, perform spot welding on the wedges at 4-5 strategic points. These wedges should be engineered,
created, and expertly installed by the user, depending on the specific conditions. The contact surface must be finely finished to ensure uniform contact,
meeting the inclined plane requirements. The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Achieve impeccable leveling utilizing a precision level. The unit must adhere to the following leveling requirements: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm for optimal performance.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following essential steps are strictly adhered to:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Assess the motor installation plane’s flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and attachments for a smooth installation;
5) The motor bolt hole should be oversized relative to the bolt to allow for adequate motor adjustment by loosening the bolts;
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be impeccably flat and devoid of attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustment between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, which should be provided by the customer themselves;
8) Equip the appropriate bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the following illustration;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to place a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, allowing the dial indicator probe to check the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the motor foot's bolts intricately to align the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circle deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Ensure the coupling end face maintains a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then carefully verify the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for assured alignment;
12) Install the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling tests to conclude the alignment process.
3.3.4 Once the level and alignment of the casing are impeccably adjusted, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 Given that the impeller is a high-velocity rotating component, it is imperative to prevent any solid or liquid entry, as it may cause irreversible damage. Ensure that the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are scrupulously clean and meet steam corrosion grade requirements. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines and consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. All import and export pipelines must feature the necessary pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure the pipeline connected to the compressor is independently supported by another bracket, preventing any weight burden on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Upon the complete installation of the main fan and auxiliary equipment, and once the concrete has fully solidified, you may proceed with the compressor operation test.
