At the core of this innovative process lies a fundamental principle: the secondary steam produced by the evaporator is expertly compressed with a high-efficiency steam compressor. This conversion seamlessly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As this heated steam returns triumphantly to the evaporator, it efficiently heats the materials to induce evaporation, thereby ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising a meticulously designed compressor body, robust coupling, precision-engineered gearbox, efficient lubrication system, powerful motor, advanced electric instruments, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. This compact masterpiece not only boasts a streamlined structure but also promises unparalleled ease of maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.1 To ensure the optimal installation of your Versatile Watervapour Compressor, position the compressor base securely on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to precisely adjust and level the unit.
Carefully place two wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled. Proceed to spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 critical points for enhanced stability. The wedge installation should
be tailored to your specific conditions, achieving a uniform contact surface for reliable support.
Note that the wedge iron's contact plane must bear no more than 40Kg/cm2to maintain integrity.
3.3.2 Maintain precision by using a level to find the unit's axis level. The requirement is a strict 0.05/1000mm axial level and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures optimal performance and stability.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Before alignment, confirm the following prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield for ease of access;
3) Safely remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is free from debris, dirt, and any unwanted residues;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, enabling easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Equip yourself with ample and flat stainless steel gaskets. These should fit snugly beneath the motor base without using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, accurate to 0.01mm, for alignment (customer to procure);
8) Construct a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as demonstrated in the attached diagram;
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, ensuring the probe contacts the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet delicately, aligning the compressor and motor center lines accurately. Ideal deviation for outer circle should not exceed 0.05mm, and the motor shaft should be slightly elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Ensure coupling end face deviation is between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Ultimately, secure the motor foot bolts firmly, while verifying the outer circle and end face runouts;then,
12) Post motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling intermediate section securely.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, ensure all anchor bolts are tightened securely. Post mechanical operation or trial run, re-loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a vital high-speed component; its efficiency hinges on the absence of obstructive solids or liquids. Such contaminants can inflict irreversible damage. It's imperative to maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliance demands immediate rectification. Proactively,integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, right before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the precise installation of the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to PI diagram specifications for pipeline accessories. Ensure that additional brackets support pipelines connected to the compressor, preventing undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its essential ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has fully set and achieved complete solidity, you are now ready to embark on the compressor operation test with confidence.
3.3.8 It is advised that the electric control cabinet of the compressor be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring connection, designed for seamless functionality, should be executed using threading pipe that is carefully laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, ensure a precise connection by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the corresponding lines at the remote DCS, facilitating smooth and efficient operations.
