3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely on its designated foundation. Beneath the base, position wedge-shaped shims, which are essential for ensuring the unit's level stability.
Utilize alternating arrangements of two wedge-shaped irons for optimal balance. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the position by spot welding the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should
be custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions of the setup. Ensure that the contact surfaces are meticulously finished to allow even contact across the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity for these wedge irons should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Attain precise leveling using a level instrument. The unit demands high precision with an axial level tolerance of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level requirement of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment by centering the coupling. Prior to commencing this process, ensure that the following requirements are met:
1) The main power supply must be completely turned off.
2) Remove and set aside the coupling shield.
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Check the motor installation plane's flatness rigorously, removing any debris or attachments that could disrupt alignment.
5) Ensure that the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt itself, allowing for necessary adjustments by loosening the bolt.
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot. The gaskets must be pristine and flat, avoiding the use of lengthy or thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, boasting an impressive accuracy of 0.01mm (to be procured by the customer).
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the diagram below.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the probe accurately on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts meticulously to ensure the compressor and motor center lines converge precisely. The maximum permissible deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, ensuring that the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face tolerances are 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude the process by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout to confirm compliance.
12) Post motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Once the casing is adjusted for both levelness and alignment, securely tighten the anchor bolts. After running the machine or conducting a trial operation, retighten the bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 To safeguard the high-speed rotating impeller from irreversible damage, any solid or liquid matter must be prohibited from entering. Maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines, complying with the system's specified steam corrosion grade. Rectify any pipelines that fall short of these conditions. It is crucial to incorporatesolid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor's straight pipe inlet for added protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are fitted with relevant accessories per the PI diagram. The compressor should not bear the weight of these pipelines; they must be supported by independent brackets.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and all associated auxiliary equipment are expertly mounted and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, it is time to initiate the compressor operation test. This rigorous assessment ensures that the Robust Watervapour Compressor is fully prepared to deliver unmatched efficiency and performance in wastewater extraction.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor to ensure optimal connectivity. Seamlessly thread the wiring through pipes laid discreetly underground, creating an unobtrusive yet robust connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet. Upon secure placement of the cabinet, meticulously link the wiring terminals within the control cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring smooth operation and superior control of the Robust Watervapour Compressor.
