3.3.1 For optimal performance and stability, the compressor base is strategically positioned on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims to achieve a perfectly level unit.
Place the wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring precise leveling of the unit. Proceed to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points to secure them firmly. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surface is finely finished for even contact of the inclined
plane. The bearing capacity of the wedge iron is critical and should not exceed 40Kg/cm2). Meticulous attention to these details is paramount for reliable installation.
3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level tool to ensure the unit's perfect balance. Adherence to the leveling specifications is essential: the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level of the unit should maintain 0.10/1000mm. These precise measurements are crucial for optimal functionality and longevity.
3.3.3 The coupling requires precise centering. Before embarking on alignment, confirm the following prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free of debris, dirt, and unwanted attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole should be designed larger than the bolt size, enabling easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Assemble sufficient stainless steel gaskets to securely cover the motor foot. Ensure these gaskets are pristine and absolutely flat; avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, which customers should prepare in advance;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully manipulate the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is confirmed, securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Reassess the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for precision.;
12) After performing the motor idling test, install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing 'levelness' and precise alignment, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. After initial mechanical operation or trial run, loosen the bolts and retighten them to ensure security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed rotating component. Any solid or liquid ingress will cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. If not, rectify accordingly. It is advisableto install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to safeguard against contamination.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Install import and export pipelines with appropriate accessories according to the PI diagram. Ensure that pipelines connected to the compressor are supported independently, as the compressor body should not bear their weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all of its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test.
