Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base onto its designated foundation. Enhance stability by inserting wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which allow for precise leveling of the unit.
Place these wedges in an alternating fashion to achieve optimal balance and stability. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, ensure the wedges are securely spot welded at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The responsibility of manufacturing and installing these wedges lies with the user, tailored to the actual conditions on-site. To ensure maximum efficiency, the contact surfaces must be finished to promote even contact on the inclined plane.
Note that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to ascertain the correct leveling of the unit. The leveling must meet the following high standards: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures the unit's smooth operation and prolonged lifespan.

3.3.3 Proper coupling alignment is crucial. Before initiating the alignment process, verify these essential preparatory steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off to guarantee safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield, providing clear access to the coupling components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for thorough inspection and alignment;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness, confirming it is free from dirt, debris, or any unwanted materials;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing for easy adjustments and alignment of the motor;
6) Amass sufficient stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage; these must be clean and uniformly flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for precarious adjustments;
7) Employ a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer must prepare;
8) Ready the designated bracket for supporting the dial indicator, ensuring stability and accuracy;

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for dial indicator placement on the wheel hub edge, with the probe aligned on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through careful adjustment of bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum outer circle deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation ranging from 0.03 to 0.05mm;

11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then reassess both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section post successful motor idling tests.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are optimally adjusted, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, these bolts must be loosened and retightened to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 It's imperative that the impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is protected from any solid or liquid intrusion, as this could result in irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connecting to the compressor are impeccably clean and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Any non-compliant pipelines must undergo immediate rectification. Moreover, for enhanced protection, it is advised to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment—such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee—preceding the compressor inlet's straight pipe.

3.3.6 Securely install both the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. All import and export pipelines should include the necessary pipeline accessories as delineated by the PI diagram. It is crucial that the pipeline connected to the compressor is upheld by a separate bracket, ensuring that its weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has been given ample time to fully solidify, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that every component is functioning seamlessly, paving the way for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius from the compressor itself. Ensure that the wiring is expertly connected from the compressor to the electric control cabinet by threading pipe, strategically routed underground for protection and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is securely stationed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless integration for seamless operation.
