The core principle involves the secondary steam, which is generated by the evaporator, being compressed with a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into valuable thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This heated steam is then redirected back into the evaporator to heat the materials, promoting evaporation and thus enabling the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam. This exceptional technique exemplifies the elegance of energy conservation.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, composed of a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is elegantly compact, ensuring ease of maintenance and operation, which makes it an outstanding choice for optimizing efficiency in various industrial applications.
3.3.1 The compressor base must be securely positioned on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure precise leveling of the unit.
Position two alternating wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is leveled, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 points for stability.
Craft and install the wedges based on actual conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are evenly finished for optimal inclined plane contact.
Each wedge's load-bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to confirm the unit's level. The axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level 0.10/1000mm.
Leveling precision ensures the unit functions optimally, minimizing wear and enhancing longevity.
3.3.3 Before coupling alignment, adhere to the prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield with care.
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Check the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris or unwanted materials.
5) The motor's bolt holes must be larger than the bolts themselves to allow for motor adjustments.
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready. These should fit snugly under the motor's foot without any attachments. Avoid using overly long or thin gaskets.
7) Equip with a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm), supplied by the customer.
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub bracket for mounting a dial indicator. Place the probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line. The maximum outer circle deviation allowed is 0.05mm, while the motor shaft center must be slightly elevated.
11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts. Reassess the coupling for both outer circle and end face runouts.;
12) Upon successful motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of casing alignment and 'levelness', securely tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical operations test, loosen and retighten these bolts for durability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, is vulnerable to damage from solid or liquid intrusion. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Unmet standards necessitate rectifications.It is advised to install solid-liquid separation devices (like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) ahead of the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring pipeline accessories align with the PI diagram. Pipelines should rely on separate supports, not the compressor, for their weight.
3.3.7 Once you have securely installed the main fan and all its associated ancillary equipment, and allowed the concrete to fully solidify, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that the setup is robust and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Ensure that the electric control cabinet of the compressor is positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for seamless operation. The wiring from the compressor to this cabinet should be meticulously arranged using threading pipes, which must run underground to maintain safety and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, proceed to connect its wiring terminals with the remote DCS lines, ensuring a stable and efficient communication channel.
