The Oil-film High-Speed Direct Drive Steam Compressor is an advanced piece of turbine equipment powered by a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. Its ingenious design features a streamlined structure where the impeller is directly affixed at the shaft extension end of the motor. The rotor, ingeniously supported by an oil film bearing, achieves seamless direct drive through the high-speed motor. This sophisticated set-up eliminates the need for both a speed increasing box and coupling, showcasing unparalleled simplicity and innovation in industrial engineering.
3.3.1 Begin the setup by integrally positioning the compressor base on its foundation. To ensure optimal leveling, insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are crucial for adjusting the unit's level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled. Once aligned, secure the wedge irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 key points. This method ensures a stable and secure foundation.
The wedge irons must be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific installation environment. The contact surface should be finished for even contact on the inclined plane, maintaining a
bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2) to ensure robust and reliable performance.
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's true level. The stringent leveling criteria demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for impeccable alignment.
These meticulous measurements ensure the unit operates smoothly and efficiently.
3.3.3 Achieving perfect coupling alignment is paramount. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following preparatory steps are completed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety throughout the process.
2) Detach the coupling shield to allow unobstructed access.
3) Carefully remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling.
4) Assess the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from foreign materials, dirt, and other obstructions.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt sizes, facilitating bolt loosening for motor adjustment.
6) Secure an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. Ensure these gaskets are pristine and perfectly flat, avoiding elongated or thin gaskets that could compromise adjustment integrity.
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, to achieve precision alignment. Customers should provide their own alignment tools.
8) Prepare and position the dial indicator support bracket as depicted in the accompanying diagram.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Through strategic adjustments of the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor centers, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm in the outer circle. The motor shaft center line should ideally be elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Firmly secure the motor foot bolts, then double-check the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling to ensure precision alignment.;
12) After confirming the motor's idle performance, meticulously reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to complete the process.
3.3.4 With the casing's levelness and alignment expertly adjusted, steadfastly tighten the anchor bolts. After the machine undergoes its operational or trial phase, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must be protected from any solids or liquids to prevent irreversible damage to the compressor. Pristine cleanliness of the inlet and outlet pipelines, aligned with the system's steam corrosion grade, is non-negotiable. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. Incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet piping. Ensure the import and export pipelines integrate the appropriate pipeline accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. It's imperative that pipelines connected to the compressor are independently supported by a dedicated bracket, as their weight must not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 With the main fan and its ancillary equipment securely installed and the concrete fully cured, embark on the compressor's operational test to affirm its readiness for superior performance.
