3.3.1 To begin the seamless installation of your compressor, the base must be integrally placed on a firm foundation. Ensure stability by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, meticulously crafted to adjust and maintain perfect unit level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons to achieve impeccable leveling. Secure these with spot welds at 4 to 5 specific points, ensuring long-lasting stability.
Users must manufacture and install the wedges based on actual requirements, ensuring a refined finish for optimal contact surfaces. This guarantees an even plane contact and robust bearing capacity.
Please note, the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Precision leveling is paramount. Use a level tool to confirm the unit's alignment. Adhere to these standards: the axial level must maintain a precision of 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure all leveling meets these stringent requirements for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is a crucial step. Before commencing alignment, ensure these preparatory actions:
1) Safely disable the main power supply to prevent any unexpected operations.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the necessary components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for thorough inspection and adjustment.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and unwanted materials.
5) Motor bolt holes must exceed bolt size. This allows for necessary adjustments when loosening bolts to fine-tune motor positioning.
6) Prepare sufficient stainless steel gaskets to secure the motor's footing. These must be devoid of attachments and meticulously flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with high precision (0.01mm), as provided by the customer, for exact alignment.
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, ensuring the probe aligns with the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Through careful adjustment of the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. A maximum deviation of 0.05mm is permissible, with the motor shaft center line positioned slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft.
11) Once aligned, securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Conduct a thorough review of both the outer circle runout and the coupling end face runout.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section, ensuring stable and efficient operation.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After conducting a mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to secure precise alignment.
3.3.5 The impeller is a vital high-speed component. To prevent irreversible damage, it is imperative to avoid any solid or liquid ingress. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade. Pipelines falling short of this benchmark must be upgraded.It is highly recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for enhanced performance.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram meticulously for proper installation of relevant pipeline accessories. The pipelines must rely on independent brackets for support, avoiding undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment are expertly installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you can proceed with the compressor operation test. This step ensures everything is set for optimum performance and reliability, marking a significant milestone in the setup process.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for optimal functionality. The wiring path from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously connected using threading pipe, routed underground for safety and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, ensure the wiring terminals within the cabinet are accurately connected to the remote DCS lines, establishing a seamless and efficient communication network.
