3.3.1 Begin the installation by carefully placing the compressor base integrally on its designated foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims to skillfully adjust the unit to perfect levelness.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once you achieve optimal leveling, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons securely at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedges should be
created and installed by the user, tailored to the specific requirements of your setup, ensuring a refined contact surface for consistent contact on the inclined
plane. Please ensure that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron doesn't exceed 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve meticulous alignment. The unit's axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level demands
accuracy to 0.10/1000mm, ensuring utmost precision in the setup.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following essential preparations are complete:
1) Disconnect the main power supply for safety;
2) Remove the coupling shield to access the coupling;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring absence of debris, dirt, and other attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size for easy loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to precisely fit under the motor's feet, ensuring they are devoid of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using extended or thin gaskets for adjustment between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (customer-supplied) for precise measurement;
8) Ready the bracket for securing the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Use the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet’s bolts to align the compressor and motor center line, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm (the motor shaft center should be slightly higher than the compressor’s low-speed shaft center), with coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and reassess the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section post successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are finely adjusted, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. Following the initial mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed spinning component, demands utmost care to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion, which could irreparably damage the compressor. Thus, ensure the cleanliness and compliance of inlet and outlet pipelines with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-complying pipelines must be rectified. Considerimplementing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, right before the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the meticulous installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that these pipelines are equipped with the necessary pipeline accessories as indicated in the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be independently supported by another bracket, as its weight should not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its complementary equipment are perfectly installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, we invite you to initiate the operation test of the compressor.
