3.3.1 With precision and care, the compressor base should be seamlessly placed on the foundation. To achieve impeccable balance, incorporate wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust its level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled. Secure these wedges with spot welds across 4 to 5 points for optimal stability.
These wedges are to be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is expertly finished, providing even contact on the inclined plane.
Keep in mind the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to ascertain exact horizontal and axial alignment. The unit demands supreme leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These exacting requirements ensure flawless performance and longevity of the equipment.

3.3.3 Achieving precise coupling is an art of alignment. Before initiating this critical process, ensure the following prerequisites are meticulously met:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to prepare for alignment;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, ensuring an immaculate surface;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently large to allow for bolt adjustments during motor alignment;
6) Have a plentiful supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to fit snugly under the motor feet, ensuring they are clean and perfectly flat. Avoid using overly long or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, personally provided by the customer.
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as outlined in the accompanying illustration;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for securing the dial indicator on the hub's edge while positioning the probe at the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts diligently to ensure the compressor and motor center lines align seamlessly, with a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle. Aim for the motor shaft center line to be slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, maintaining a coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude by securely fastening the motor foot bolts and reassess the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to confirm precision;;
12) Upon a successful motor idling test, reattach the coupling's intermediate section for optimal operation.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's "levelness" and precise alignment, firmly secure the anchor bolts. Following a mechanical or trial run, retighten these bolts to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands protection from foreign solids or liquids, which can inflict irreversible damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards, with substandard pipelines undergoing necessary modifications. It is highly advised to integrate solid-liquid separation devices, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
This preemptive step will safeguard the compressor's integrity and functionality.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring compliance with PI diagram specifications. Pipelines must be augmented with suitable accessories and supported independently, relieving the compressor body of any undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, it is time to conduct a comprehensive compressor operation test.
