3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base on the prepared foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Carefully place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is leveled, expertly spot weld the wedge irons at 4-5 strategic points. The user is responsible for
crafting and installing the wedges to suit the specific conditions, ensuring the contact surface is masterfully finished for even and reliable contact with the inclined
plane. The load-bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve impeccable leveling. The unit's leveling criteria are stringent: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level must adhere to 0.10/1000mm. Precision is paramount.
3.3.3 Ensure flawless coupling alignment. Before embarking on alignment, confirm the vital prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Disassemble the coupling shield with care;
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's devoid of extraneous particles, dirt, and attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing looseness for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare sufficient stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot, ensuring they are pristine and adequately flat. Avoid insertion of long or thin gaskets between motor and base;
7) Employ a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (customer-provided);
8) Arrange a supportive bracket for the dial indicator, in line with the figure illustrated below;
9) Utilize a motor wheel hub mounting bracket for affixing a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe along the compressor wheel hub's outer perimeter;
10) By meticulously adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. The allowable outer circle deviation is a mere 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation should remain between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finalize the process by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, then diligently reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving precise 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, secure the anchor bolts firmly. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands that no solid or liquid interferes, as such intrusion can irreparably damage the compressor. Ensure the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and conform to the system's steam corrosion grading. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines immediately. It is highlyadvised to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. All import and export pipelines should be fitted with necessary pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure the pipelines attached to the compressor are supported independently by additional brackets, as their weight must not rest upon the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are securely installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures that all components function seamlessly, setting the stage for superior performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure the wiring from the compressor to this control hub is flawlessly executed using underground threading pipes. Once the control cabinet is installed, meticulously connect its wiring terminals to the remote DCS lines, ensuring robust and efficient system integration.
