The core principle revolves around compressing secondary steam produced by the evaporator. Using a highly efficient steam compressor, electrical energy is deftly transformed into thermal energy. This transformation elevates both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, returning it to the evaporator. There, it proficiently heats the materials, inciting evaporation and thus achieving a remarkable recycling of latent heat from the vaporization of secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. Its design is remarkably compact, ensuring that maintenance is both straightforward and hassle-free, making it an indispensable asset for efficient operations.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Carefully position the compressor base upon the foundation, ensuring it is perfectly level with precision-placed wedge-shaped shims. These shims are essential tools for maintaining equilibrium and should be strategically positioned for optimal alignment.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons beneath the base. After achieving the desired level, secure these irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 key points for assured stability.
The user is responsible for crafting and installing the wedge according to the specific site requirements, ensuring the contact surface is flawlessly finished. This guarantees uniform contact across the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain exact horizontality. The unit’s leveling standards are rigorous: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unparalleled performance.
The horizontal level of the unit is maintained at an exacting precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Centering the coupling is paramount. Prior to alignment, it is essential to confirm the following critical steps:
1) Deactivate the main power supply, ensuring a safe working environment;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to allow access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it's free from impurities and debris;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt sizes, granting flexibility to adjust the motor as needed;
6) Gather ample flat stainless steel gaskets for motor footing. Avoid using elongated, slender gaskets as they compromise adjustment integrity;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter boasting 0.01mm accuracy for precise alignment, to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;

9) Employ the motor hub mounting bracket to position the dial indicator on the hub's edge, with the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge for meticulous measurement;
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts systematically, aligning the compressor and motor center lines with utmost precision. Ensure the motor shaft center line slightly surpasses the compressor low-speed shaft center line, limiting outer circle deviation to 0.05mm, and coupling end face deviation to 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts post-alignment. Verify outer circle and end face runout to affirm optimal coupling integrity;
12) Reinstate the coupling’s intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are impeccably adjusted, fasten the anchor bolts firmly. Post mechanical operation or trial, it is crucial to re-loosen and retighten these bolts for continued stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, faces potential harm from any foreign solid or liquid intrusion. To safeguard the compressor, ensure all connected pipelines are immaculate and comply with the requisite steam corrosion standards. Non-conforming pipelines must undergo rectification. It is highly advised to install solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet, for extra protection.
Suggested to add solid liquid separation equipment (gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to incorporate essential pipeline accessories. Ensure the pipelines linked to the compressor are independently supported, preventing undue strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the complete installation of the main fan alongside its auxiliary equipment, and once the concrete foundation reaches full solidification, you are ready to initiate the compressor's operational test. This pivotal step ensures that every component operates seamlessly, meeting the high standards set by NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO., LTD.
3.3.8 It is essential to position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring connecting the compressor to this cabinet should be meticulously conducted through threading pipes that are routed underground. To finalize the setup, ensure that the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet are accurately linked with the remote DCS lines, completing a robust and reliable connection.
