3.3.1 Begin by placing the entire compressor base firmly onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims to achieve precise leveling of the unit, ensuring stability and correctness.
Strategically place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons by spot welding at 4 to 5 points, ensuring lasting security.
These wedges, crafted according to your specific requirements, must ensure a seamless contact plane to facilitate even distribution and support.
Attention should be given to maintaining the bearing capacity of wedge irons, which should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Proceed to achieve absolute levelness using a precision level. Adhere to the stringent leveling standards: an axial level tolerance of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level tolerance of 0.10/1000mm.
These measurements ensure the machine's optimal performance and longevity.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by adhering to the following meticulous steps:
1) Ensure complete safety by disconnecting the main power supply;
2) Safely detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to allow for unhindered alignment;
4) Confirm the motor installation surface is pristine and devoid of any foreign materials that could hinder alignment;
5) Verify that motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing flexibility to adjust motor positioning with ease;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets on hand to support the motor's feet. Ensure these gaskets are clean and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm for exact alignment, ensuring absolute accuracy during the process;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe positioned on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the motor's foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines closely. The alignment should ensure a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher, and coupling end face deviation between 0.03-0.05mm;
11) After achieving alignment, secure the motor foot bolts, then recheck the outer and end face runouts to confirm precise alignment;;
12) Once verified, reinstall the coupling intermediate section post the motor's idling test for final setup.
3.3.4 With the casing thoroughly leveled and aligned, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operations, retighten to solidify the setup.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, it is crucial to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion to avert irreversible damage. Ensure all connected pipelines uphold cleanliness and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. If not, corrective measures are essential. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet is advisable.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to incorporate relevant pipeline accessories. Importantly, the connected pipeline should be independently supported to prevent any undue weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the complete solidification of concrete following the installation of the main fan and ancillary equipment, you are ready to conduct the compressor operation test, ensuring everything is in optimal working order.
